Okay, @Jon fairy s'nuff!
There’s an extension I can buy to improve it but it will have to wait to a month where I haven’t given out hundreds of pounds of prize money already :)

Noooooo, please don't waste your money just for me @Jon , especially now I've sussed that it does perform the search if I just type it on my keyboard anyway

Trust me, compared to what I’ve spent on this forum it’s chump change lol

Just to please @mabozza if no one else

I've bought Quick Links back at the top. Simply choose the topic you want and you will go straight to that thread!- Let me know if you think another link should be added to it..

Thank you for doing this @Jon - I'd actually never clicked on it but will from now on. My only observation (and NOT a complaint) is that it takes you to the first page whereas 'regulars' would probably benefit from it being the last page instead.

I DO think it is great though as before, for example, if I searched for 'prolific' I would sometimes have to scroll through pages of the monthly 'moneymaking thread' posts before finding the OT Prolific thread.

Really like the new Forum upgrade so easy to use no matter what device you use.
Easy to find everything too.

Have I just discovered some new links @Jon or do I need to go back to Spec Savers?

I know there was the 'New posts' one, directly under 'HOME' but I've only just spotted the 'Find threads', 'Watched', 'Search forums', and 'Mark forums read' links too.

They are BRILLIANT anyway and will be a LOT easier to find some threads I use. Also the 'Search forums' one is easier for me than the 'Search' box on the top right.

Many thanks :)

Not sure if you understood my original query @Jon , so thought I would show you what I meant exactly;

When I click on the 'search' box to type into it:

It then takes me to this, with no search box to type into:

and the ONLY way I can then actually SEE what I am typing is to click on the 'Advanced' box, which takes me to the keywords 'search' box.

However, when I am in the second example above, I have discovered that if I type the words on my keyboard and click on the blue 'search' icon, it WILL
come up with successful searches for me.

Is this just me? Is it because I am doing it from a desktop pc? Is this normal?

I don't want to create a load of hassle/work for you - I'm just curious, thanks!
This should now be resolved.

Search should all be working good for you now @Knopfler
