I am sure that there are many site members that have to constantly repeat repetitive tasks in part of their On-line Money Making.

For those of you that use Firefox, iMacros is a great tool for automating repetitive tasks. So if for example you have to log into the same sites each day, entering a username and password, then click onto a certain section of a site; you can use iMacros to automate the whole process.

It will also fill out web forms for you. All you have to do is train it once and it will record your actions.

Here is an overview: http://imacros.net/overview

Also it is FREE!

Personally I use it for many mundane tasks, and it saves me a lot of time.

How would you rate it compared to Lastpass?

I think, but correct me if I am wrong LastPass is just a password manager. iMacros automates your clicking, opening of new tabs, form filling, data collection etc. In the right hands it is a very powerful tool.

I personally use iMacros every morning for one particular repetitive task. I have 12 websites that I check every morning. With just one click it will open all 12 sites in separate tabs log in and then take me to the relevant section of each site. On all the 12 sites it completes different tasks for each site that I have pre-programmed.

Then all I have to do is click on each tab to view that particular sites info.

OK as you can tell I am a fan.

I wonder what other tools people find useful for their on-line tasks?

Another one I like is "Check for change" there is nothing worse than being logged out of a site because you have not used it for sometime.

If I go to a site where you are logged out after X number of minutes, I use check for change, which prevents me from being logged out till I decide.

Looks very useful.
Could do with something to fill in forms etc and for surveys this would be useful for filling in demographics etc.
The full details of what it actually does is here:

Good. By the way is the it the browser add you are supposed to download or the one that downloads to your computer where you get 30 days free version then the basic one after that?

I have had mine for sometime now, so I cannot really remember how I got it. But I would personally go to your addons in Firefox and download it from the Get Addons section.

My version is as attached:

I like the sound of this. One click and I'll be able to open all sites I should be checking everyday. I wonder if it would work to do the tedious 20 clicks on clixsense.

Hey Layla, for fairly simple tasks it is easy to use. You basically start with a blank page and then press the record button on the iMacros. Then it will record all your clicks typing etc as you go through the process. When you have finished you then press stop. This then means that when you press play again it will just go through the whole process.

OK that made sound easy, yes it is, till you make a mistake and it records the mistake. It is worth watching some of the videos on the subject.

Once you have done a simple recording, you can then make it do more complicated stuff.

Sounds good.
I know for ClixSense and other similar GPT sites you are not allowed to use any sort of automated software for clicking ads. If they monitor it which I am sure these sites do you risk being banned and losing all your earnings and your Account. Personally I would not risk it using it for clicking ads for something like ClixSense just in case. Too much of a financial risk for me since I earn so well there.
I would use it for logging into sites and things and as a form filler as that would save allot of time.

Knowing the sites rules is always a very useful tool in itself!!

I believe that iMacos is a very useful tool for gaining followers on certain sites too.

That's why a lot of these sites have captcha's so you can't use this sort of addon but be great to click and open all the windows and login to all sites to check surveys or clicks that need to be done so you have a set routine each day.

I have just taken a trip over to FIVVER to see what those guys had to offer regarding iMacros. Yep there is quite a lot of stuff to learn when you see what some offer.
