I am new to TMS and yesterday I made a post about saving money by using travel counsellors and a member removed my post.

Can anyone help me as to why they would have removed my post? It was in no way offensive and it was relevant to TMS

Wasn't me - I read it this morning. Perhaps [member=920]katykicker[/member] or [member=1]Jon@TheMoneyShed[/member] can shed some light?

Hayley I tried to send you a PM but it advised me that you were not able to receive private messages.

Your post was not considered relevant to the area it was posted in.

It was posted in earning money online

It was not about earning money online, thus it was removed

It could have been yes

It wasn't though, it was removed

It was their first post and they are shilling a company AND its been posted in the wrong section for no reason

If they want to post it again in the relevant section they can do that

Okay, I didn't see the original post so didn't know the nature of the post.

To be honest, everything is pretty straight forward and the forum names tell you what you need to know :)

You can also post referral links, but use your discretion. If a member has posted a very detailed post explaining how to use a certain site and included their referral link then that isn't the best place to post it.

Basic etiquette:

If you want to post about an opportunity, firstly use the search function to see if a thread already exists. If it does then comment on there if it doesn't then feel free to create a new thread. Jon will remove new threads if there is already a thread about it (most will be labelled OT).

As Aldi has said, the areas are pretty clearly labelled. Blog related posts go in Blogger's chat, MLM on the MLM board, online earnings in the Earning Money Online board and general banter in the TMS Arms etc :)
