Anyone know how to work out the figures at all? Just got my monthly statement for the free share (not cashed in yet, waiting to see what happens) and can't make head or tail of it.

The free share is 6.47
market price is 7.26
the floating result is 0.68
the margin is 6.22

the equity is 6.39
the margin requirement is 6.22
the available margin 0.17

the closing balance is 5.71

eh?????????????????????????????

Equity is balance + floating profit or loss.
Floating meaning not yet fixed. Balance is the amount of money fixed in your account.
It becomes fixed when you close the position(s) and gets added (or subtracted) from your balance.

Shares range from around £10 up to £100 - my husbands first share was 70 whereas mine was 11 but free moneys free money ...
U must deposit a minimum of £1.00 and u can withdraw that after 24 hrs of depositing it
When u receive your free share they notify of what one it is and how much then after 2-3 days u can close that share and transfer it to your card u paid the £1.00 on
100% legit 100% works as ive done it via a friends referal
The company is basically doing this as a promotion to hopefully attract new business but u can simply get your free share and close your account if u wish
This is the link!

Hi guys ive found that this is actually much better than this trading 212 nonsense, totally free to try atm too. They dont even ask you to deposit any money they just want to prove the concept works!

No 'free money' however. I assume that's what the majority of users signed up for to get their free share and cash out rather than an actual interest in shares and trading.

Hi there, just signed up to add to this thread. I recently helped refer a friend but didn't qualify for the promotion as my account was still a joint one. Now I have a link I'd be very pleased if somebody used it to sign up!

Do you want to get a free stock share worth up to £100?

Create a Trading 212 Invest account using this link http://www.trading212.com/ref/Ffb3VuSo and we both get a free share!

Thanks.

Just in case people haven't seen

Trading212 have yet again changed the T&C's of their promotion. (I have met the 20 referrals so I no longer receive any shares, so if you'd like your link in the first post let me know, I'll change it weekly or something until people get bored.)

New minimum deposit rates
Opening an account: Minimum deposit amount is GBP 20, EUR 20 or USD 20
Further deposits: Minimum deposit amount is GBP 20, EUR 20 or USD 20
Minimal withdrawal amount: GBP 1, EUR 1 or USD 1
Single buy order minimum value: GBP 10, EUR 10, USD 10

https://www.trading212.com/en/Invite-a-Friend-Terms
YOU ARE ALLOWED 20 REFERRALS MAXIMUM
2.2. Both You and Your first 20 Referrals will receive a free stock after the conditions in Section 1 above have been met. After Your first 20 qualified Referrals You will continue to be entitled to send the invite link, however only your Referral shall be entitled to receive a Referral Share.

YOU NOW HAVE TO WAIT 30 DAYS TO GET YOUR MONEY !!!
2.7. The monetary value of the Referral Share shall be subject to a 30 days withdrawal lock-up period, from the day of the receipt of the Referral Share. The lock-up will not affect in any way any other assets You have - e.g. Your deposit or Your profit (if any) arising from the Referral Share etc. In case You have sold the Referral Share with a loss (for less than it initially cost) only the funds acquired from the sale would be subject to the lock-up period. If you have received the monetary value, instead of a Referral Share, those funds will be subject to the lock-up period.

2.8. Each Referral Share will be subject to a separate lock-up period.

2.9. No client deposit funds and/or profit from the Referral Share will be subject to a lock-up period.

Ok so for anyone who wants a simple no commission share dealing account I can recommend Trading 212. To get the risk free free share you only have until 25th before the promotion is pulled so you will need to act quickly.

My referral link for the free share is www.trading212.com/ref/w9LZD

Note: You now need to deposit £20 to qualify for the free share, but your deposit is not at risk if its held as cash and can be withdrawn after you get your free share.

The free share can be sold but the money from the free share is locked in for 30 days. So you have to wait 30 days before you can get the money after which time you are free to withdraw everything if you want to.

The free share can be anything up to £100 but in my experience it has always been in the region of £10 to £40

Just got a notification that the Free Share Promotion is back on! New T&Cs here and the referrals now seem to be valid for both Invest and ISA openings. Minimum deposit is now £29.

Here's my new referral link for those who wish to open: www.trading212.com/invite/tsYOU

Do you want a free stock share worth up to £100

Create a Trading 212 Invest account using this link www.trading212.com/invite/Ed4F and we both get a free share!
You need to open an Invest or ISA account, activate it (normally happens automatically but sometimes you may need to do a manual verification) and deposit at least £29

I've been really pleased with Trading212 since opening my account with them at the beginning of the year. So if you are wanting to open a no fees share investment account this offer is well worth doing. I got a free share worth £41 last time round. They say you can get one worth up to £100 but it is much more likely to be between £10 to £50

Positives:
You get a free share worth up to £100 which you can keep or sell after 3 days if you want.
No commision on share dealing
No inactivity fee or monthly fees on Iinvest account
Lots of tools for charts
Easy to contact customer services on live chat
Regulated by FCA and your money is protected by the FSCS scheme.
You can hold shares within an ISA (but remember it will use up your ISA allowance for the tax year)
If you have at least £200 invested you get a referral link to spread around as you wish and receive another free share everytime it is used. (up to 20 times)

Negatives:
The cash value of the Referral Share is subject to a 30 days withdrawal lock-in period.
Lack of dividend information and not much information on the companies they offer shares for.
You need to research elsewhere then come back to the platform to buy and sell.
Not much information for beginners and the main screen can appear a bit confusing.
