So after getting binned from Leapforce I had no joy getting anything else, the date I was meant to be starting the Lionbridge exam came and went and when I contacted them they had changed their minds so that was that! With the change of circumstances here and the vastly reduced available time anyway I decided to put my earning mission on the back burner for a while so from April-September my total earnings (including the last pay from LF which was about half it!) was a miserable £461.53 (£423.53 cash/£38 vouchers).

Anyway we had a great, busy summer and it was nice to not have to think about when I was going to fit my work in but once we got to September I decided it was time to try and find some time again. I now have 2 of my 3 kids home full time only seem to manage around an hour and a half per day but I do what I can with it. I got lucky with getting another social media job (Lionbridge this time, thru workmarket) so have been getting into the rythm of doing that each day, plus odds and ends from branded surveys, prolific and have reinstalled Qmee. Swagbucks disabled my account some months ago completely out of the blue and wouldnt tell me why so unfortunately no more amazon vouchers from that direction which is a pain. I don't have a goal as such just to make what I can with the time I can manage. Applied for a proof reading job too but not holding my breath on that one!
Are you any good at writing content at all?

I usually need a handful of stuff doing each month and pay a variety of people and would be happy to include you if it would help.

I know you said £461 is miserable but it’s still £461! Which is a nice amount of money. Not what you aimed for but try not to let that get you down.

I’ve just read through this thread and have found your online money making journey really interesting. Sounds like you’re super organised which is a great thing.

It’s a shame Swagbucks isn’t working for you anymore. You mentioned your husband had an account, can you still use his? Although how people make so much from swagbucks I don’t know! I think I got about £5 before I gave up!

I really hope you find something else that fits in nicely with your day to day life. You sound like a great mum who’s rolling her sleeves up and cracking on. All the best.

That's so nice of you to say, thank you. With swags I think it's run it's course tbh, I wasn't impressed with alot of the recent changes anyway so it was probably time to leave they just took the decision out of my hands.

Total for 2018: £2504.19 (£2347.05 cash, £157.14 vouchers).

Summary: Once again thought I'd share this as it might be of interest to someone other than myself. Annual breakdown of where my earnings came from this year:

Lionbridge - £712.42
Leapforce - £1018.78
Swagbucks - £147.14
Qmee - £149.55
Pinecone - £21
Prolific academies - £79.07
Appen - £42.36
Branded surveys - £100.32
Red bubble £0.66 (new venture just started)
Other/misc - £232.89

Given I barely did anything May-August this could have been worse really. My focus this year is Lionbridge for as long as that lasts and Red bubble as I think it has potential.

It's a site where you upload your art/designs and people can buy them on merchandise, they do all the order fufilment and you get a cut of the profit. I'm far from an artist but decided to dabble and have sold a load of stickers already which is a start!

That is a great start! Are you looking to carry the same designs onto other products or are you looking to make new, bespoke designs for each item?

So, here I am again! My little moneymaking mission got put on the back burner once again last summer with the arrival of baby no.4. She turns one on Monday and it feels like time to get going again!

General update here: my eldest is starting uni in Sept, living half at home and half in halls with a great support package from the DSA which we're hoping will make it possible. Eldest will not be able to manage a part time job in addition however so the (thankfully not huge) gap between student loan and accommodation/living costs is ours to cover. Next eldest is learning to drive which we are splitting the cost of with her. Still home edding (for over 2 years now, not covid related) the now 10 yr old due to his additional needs and now obviously have teeny-bop too. We have also sold the house and are (all being well) moving early autumn to a much bigger house. It's in a rural area that offers us a totally different lifestyle (can't wait!) but is also a total doer-uper. We intend for it to be our forever home so no timescale on doing it up and we will have a small amount of equity left from this place to get going with but basically anything I can earn will be added to the renovation budget each month.

I'm basically starting from scratch with money making, as time poor as ever but determined to manage something. As before I receive carers allowance due to child 3 so am 'limited' to earning £128 per week max. If I could make even half of that I would be over the moon given how much else I have going on, even £100 a month would be great to start with!

So that's me. Am on the wait list for my old Lionbridge evaluation work again and started back up with prolific. Have just registered with Neevo and intellizoom so looking to see what I can do with those. Gonna set my start date as tomorrow as the 1st of a month feels nicer lol.

Hope everyone here is keeping well, thanks if you read all that. :)

Hmmmn just had my first job on Neevo and got booted out for quality control reasons. Had the instructions open whilst doing the work and thought I understood them so bit miffed about that! Really can't be wasting the time I do have on work I don't then get paid for so maybe Neevo isn't going to be for me!

Things going a bit better, completed project Frith on Appen and a couple of Neevo jobs that I managed not to get booted from lol! No idea when they will payout for either so can't include them in my total yet but at least it will add to next month if it takes a while. I've also got a few bits sitting in my inbox to have a look at this evening (when husband can take over with the younger 2 children) so hopefully a few more pennies there.

Passed the intellizoom practice study which is good, did it weeks ago and assumed I fluffed it but nope it just took them that long to review it lol! Have a couple of jobs from them to look at later. Doing Neevo every chance I get and the money its starting to trickle in, hoping for some bigger payment when some of the current jobs close. Also managed to get a new design up on Redbubble as I still think that is my best bet for a more passive income moving forward. As I've said before I'm no artist but I have lots of ideas so it's just getting round to making them and getting them uploaded.

As per the money making challenge thread, final total for the month:

Prolific Acad: £22.74
Neevo: £45.80 ($62.10)
Curious cat £1.08

Total £69.62/£50

Pretty pleased with that but even better is all the work I've done and yet to be paid for which means September should be higher!

Anyway as I get close to the initial target I set myself I'm predictably already looking beyond it! I primarily want to be able to go private for some of the stuff related to my kids needs (NHS sadly now equals years long waiting lists and no guarantees when you get to the end of them) and that is the real driving force behind this for me. On top of this we have a significant amount of debt accumulated over difficult times that is coming down but more slowly than I'd like and less importantly (but still something I'd like to change longer term) we have been living for just shy of 9 years in a house we bought as a '5 year house' after the economy fell over and our circumstances changed. In all honesty life has been very difficult indeed over the past 8 or so years with one horrible situation after another, the title I gave the thread says it all really, it's time to turn things around. There are obviously a lot of things money can't help with but an awful lot more it can as I see it so that is my mission now. I want to earn as much as I can really and the only thing I won't give a go is the matched betting. That's a no go for personal reasons but most anything else I'm open to, my plan was to try pretty much everything and drop what doesn't work for me.

Just reading back through the early posts of this thread and this bit jumped out at me. I posted that in May 2017, completely unaware that just a few months later life was going to be blown apart all over again. Yet in spite of this since then we have managed to pay for all the assessments we needed, all the loans and credit cards are gone (last payment was literally last week!) and after 12 years here we are also in the process of buying what will hopefully be our forever home. And had another baby along the way as well!

I can't pretend that all of this is a direct result of the relatively small amounts I've made since joining here - although it has definitely helped - but more that my whole thought process and attitude on earning, spending and money in general has changed. It's a result of all of this that has, indeed, turned things around for us and for that I cannot thank this place enough. I wish more people knew about TMS and all the opportunities out there (I do tell anyone who will listen!) as it really is a game changer. Thank you. x

The site has always grown through word of mouth, I can't even think when the last time I 'paid' to advertise it anywhere so when people do find it organically they tend to be OH MY GOD THERE IS MORE TO EARNING ONLINE THAN LOW PAYING SURVEYS! Seems like you are going great guns with the Neevo stuff so that's excellent!
