Hey folks.

I've been umming and ahhing for a long time (too long!) about MBing. Current financial circumstances in our household have me looking for any and all ways to up the funds in our pot (I'm on long term sick, and starting to really panic about money) - so as such one of the things I can't help but look to is MBing.

My concerns are as follows:

1. This is the biggy. I'm worried about how long my seed money will be out of action for me - from when my husband did some MBing, I know money was often in various places at any given time. I on't have much seed money to start out with and any that I do use would be a short term loss to our current finances. I know long term we'll gain - that is not my concern - but it's being down that money in the interim. Is there any way to shorten the time funds are circling out to bookies and the like?

2. Another significant worry... as mentioned above, the hubs did some MBing a while ago. He struggled to keep focus and once the offers didn't seem to be "valuable" enough his interest waned. My concern is whether the bookies will assume because we're on the same internet connection at the same address, that this is a duplicate acc, or how many have blocks on more than one person at one address taking advantage of sign up offers. My assumption on this one is that it will have to be a "suck it and see" thing.

3. How important is it to have a separate account for this? I did set up a new bank acc to keep it separate (which I would prefer) but it's been a huge PITA as they keep failing to get my PIN to me... I should chase it again, but do I need to wait to resolve this first?

I think those are the main things for now, any advice would be super appreciated.

x

Hey [member=2632]Petlamb[/member]

1- You can always get back what you put in. I started with £60 and there was nothing stopping me from withdrawing that initial £60 when I got to say £100/200 in profit. I just kept everything in until I hit £2000

2 - Some will let you both have an account on the same IP and some won't. You will know about it soon enough as they will just stop you from getting bonuses and offers on one of the accounts.

3 - I would personally use a separate account but you don't need a PIN number for it anyway as you are just using it as bank account to move and send money to.

Hope that helps

Do you keep getting offers and bonuses or does it eventually dry up ? I know my oldest sons friend does this and apparently he bought a house out of the proceeds  but when my son was trying to explain it, it seemed quite technical.

I do love this place :)

Theoretically the pin shouldn't matter but I need it to activate the card in question as it's never been used as yet. Project for this week I think.
