I need to pay to a US company, which accepts bank transfers only. Usually I use TransferWise in such cases, I have a USD balance there. But this company wants a transfer from a real bank account, not from TransferWise, Revolut or similar services. What is the cheapest bank and way to do this?

I googled and compared some UK banks. Looks like Barclays does not charge any fee for UK to USA bank transfers from GBP accounts made online or via their app, but they charge almost 3% currency conversion fee, which is a sort of a robbery. However, other banks I checked look even worse. They charge a transfer fee + currency conversion fee. Also all UK banks I checked add "intermediate and recipient banks can charge additional fee" phrase.

What UK bank has the lowest fee + currency conversion % when sending money to USA from a GBP account?

I also think about this way: TransferWise USD balance -> USD account in a UK bank -> transfer USD to that US company. To avoid currency conversion.
What UK bank has the lowest fee when sending to USA from a USD account opened in a UK bank? Looks like some of them just don't allow to send any transfers from USD accounts, because those accounts are for savings only. Also some of them charge a fee (6 USD) when transfers come to USD accounts.

Thank you, Jon. All those companies are not banks. Yes, they exchange currencies and send payments to USA. And I already have an account at one of them: Wise (which is a new name of TransferWise).
But this particular company accepts transfers from banks only.

Is this payment for a one off? Is it for a self employed work thing? - if so I would just do it the easiest way possible and claim the fee back as a banking expense on my tax return

I am going to send a few payment per year. So, not a one off.
It is for services.
Thank you for the "claim the fee back" idea. I'll think about it.
