Understanding the figures

HI all

I am so dim with all of this betting thing. I don't understand how the figures stack up. Here is a snapshot of my betfair bets. Can you explain what the figures mean and how I work out how much money I have won, it looks like I am just winning the stake, but in my tiny brain that doesn't seem right. So sorry for being so thick and thanks in advance for any help <3 xx

The screen shot didn't show up.

What have you bet at the bookies? How much did you lay at Betfair?
Was it a qualifying bet, or using a free bet?

Wish I could help - I just can't quite get to do any matched betting yet because the videos don't quite make sense for me...I'd almost pay someone to do an online tutorial for me! (An idea for someone on here perhaps? I'm sure people would pay good money for an online training session that explained it well enough!)

Odds Monkey used to offer 30 mins 1 to 1 training when you signed up with them, can't see it on the website atm; not sure if anyone knows if they still offer it?

They do have step by step videos of the sign up offers though.

Omg thank you! I'm going to google them. The videos on profit accumulator explained it slightly but then by the time it came to betting I had completely forgotten everything! I think I need two screens; one to do the betting and another to watch the step by step video to tell me what to do...

My aim is definitely this year to make a few thousands from it - reading the other posts on here it seems achievable. I'll be first to share on here once I've done my first successful bet!

Er um ooo.
I don't use that screen, took a while to find it!
I use:

Betting Activity ---> Exchange Profit & Loss

This shows the commission so you can work out what you actually won.

You have placed 3 lay bets which have all won, so you have won the stake on each bet, its just this screen doesn't show the 5% commission you pay Betfair.

I kept the PA tutorial screen open and toggled between that and the sites for the first couple of bets. It took longer but at least I did not make a mistake.

I hear you. it took me about an hour to place my first bet. I kept checking the video, then checking the odds.
