Up to date info

I am finding loads of information here, and it looks like a fantastic site, but some things seem too good to be true.

I am wondering how up to date some of the info is, and whether discussions concerning out of date apps or websites are deleted or noted as being out of date.

I get a little confused and then skeptical when things say "coming soon", when the post was written some months or even years ago. I don't want to spend ages reading about an app or website, trying to find it, download and register, only to find that it's no longer supported or is not paying out any more. I'm not the fastest on the computer, so I'd really like help from you kind folks here.

Can anyone clarify the situation a little for me?

I would never really delete content without extremely good reason but can you show me examples of what you are talking about please

I was looking at the codes and vouchers section, but a lot of the most recent posts on the threads go back quite some time, even to 2014 [member=1]Jon[/member]

I think I understand about time spent moderating, but I just didn't want to be too much of a bother by asking silly questions in case I'm told to go and read about it for myself. I might well have read some information, but if it hasn't been updated in 18 months or so I won't know if it's still up to date. I'll bear in mind this "bumping" idea. If you see a post with a voucher code from 2014 then I would say don't be surprised if I doesn't work in 2017.....

We are not the Green Site, we'd never tell you to just go and read about it yourself on ANYTHING. We're generally nice to people who honestly aren't sure about anything so please, bump, question and clarify - there is never a silly question on this forum.

It's the site run by Martin Lewis. When you type the name it gets changed to green site.
