£8 ($10) bonus when you sign up and complete your first market research study with User Interviews

I searched the forum and I couldn't find any mention of my favorite market research website, User Interviews.

User Interviews is a market research site with various opportunities for taking part in online focus groups, diary studies, website tests, and other similar research studies. They have an ongoing offer for new users who sign up via a referral link - a bonus £8 ($10) gift card when they sign up via a referral link and complete their first study.

Since January, I've made £170 from the site with about 4 hours work (not a bad hourly rate). I've done:
  • a 90 minute Zoom focus group that paid £68
  • a 30-minute interview about cycling that paid £30
  • a 30-minute website usability test that paid £15.
  • a 10-minute unmoderated website test - £7.50
  • a 60-minute moderated website test - £50
Although the site does not appear to have many opportunities at any one time. They email opportunities regularly, and this is how I have been signing up.

Payments are made after each study (all of mine have been within a week) by Paypal, bank transfer, or via RewardLink giftcards (there's many companies to choose from here - Amazon, Tesco, Asda, Adidas...). A lot of the payments are listed in US dollars, but you can easily change this to GBP when you cash out!

As a bonus you can also get a £8ish ($10) RewardLink gift card when you sign up using a referral link and complete your first study. Again, it can be redeemed in GBP.

Referral link (£8 bonus)

Just an update on my earnings from User Interviews. Since January, I've now made £225 from the site with about 5 hours work (~£45/hour!). I've done:

* a 90 minute Zoom focus group that paid £68
* a 30-minute interview about cycling that paid £30
* a 30-minute website usability test that paid £15.
* a 10-minute unmoderated website test - £6
* a 60-minute moderated website test - £5 in0
* 7x 10-minute moderated website test - £56 (£8 each)

All have been pretty interesting. The opportunities are listed on the site as and when, so it is work checking. But they also email opportunities too and this is how I have signed up for most studies.

If anyone else is interested in making some extra cash doing market research studies on User Interviews, you will also get a bonus ~£8 Reward Link gift card ($10) when you sign up with the referral link below and complete your first study.

Another update for User Interviews.

Today I had a 30-minute interview about a new ethical investing company (well they have actually been around for a while). The interviewer just asked me to look at their website and give my thoughts.

I received my payment exactly 96 minutes after completing the interview. The payment was $40 (£32.65) for the 30 minutes!

The refer-a-friend bonus is still active. So if anyone wants a bonus ~£8 on completion of their first study, here's the link:

Referral link (£8/$10 bonus) ---------- Non-referral link (no bonus)

Nice one, there are only ever a few studies listed at any one time. But they email the opportunities out (sometimes these do not make it to the webpage). So I would keep an eye on your emails. I think I get 3-4 invites a week, and I usually just apply to any that seem relevant - the applications only take a minute each.

Another update for User Interviews!

Yesterday I had a 60-minute interview about some unknown banking apps "help" function. The interviewer gave me a few scenarios and asked me to guide them on a prototype (app on my phone) how I would go about finding out information to help. Pretty easy.

This time I received my payment exactly 118 minutes after completing the interview. The payment was $40 (£32.60 - 5p less than last time thanks to exchange rate fluctuations). I'm signed up for another $30/30-minute study tomorrow!

I think I am in love with this company. So if anyone wants to join me, and wants a bonus ~£8 on completion of their first study, here's the link:

Latest update.... last week I took part in another 30-minute test for User Interviews. It paid £24. This one was just a conversation about my banking habits!

This takes my total earned since January to £313 (GBP) from the site with about 7 hours work (~£45/hour!).

They're still offering an ~£8 bonus on completion when you complete your first study, here's the link:

Yeah, I am very pleased with them (and most people I've told seem to be doing well too). It's weird, because most other sites I've joined seem strict on the "how long ago did you last do a market research study", but not User Interviews!

Here's an update with my year to date earnings from User Interviews. So far this year, I've made £377 (GBP) from 17 studies with about 8 hours work (\~£45/hour!).*

All the studies I have done this year on User Interviews
  1. a 90 minute Zoom focus group that paid £68
  2. a 30-minute interview about cycling that paid £30
  3. a 30-minute website usability test that paid £15.
  4. a 10-minute unmoderated website test - £6
  5. a 60-minute moderated website test - £50
  6. 7x 10-minute moderated website test - £56 (£8 each)
  7. a 30-minute website test of a popular finance company (£32)
  8. a 60-minute conversation about help options in banking apps (£32)
  9. a 30-minute conversation about my banking habits (£24).
  10. a 60-minute conversation with a mortgage provider (£24).
  11. a normal online survey (text based) that took 20 minutes (£25). This one paid via a voucher direct to my email (proof).

All have been pretty interesting. The opportunities are listed on the site as and when, so it is work checking. But they also email opportunities too and this is how I have signed up for most studies.

They're still offering an ~£8 bonus on completion when you complete your first study (when signing up you need to put your number in +44 format!).

Its really good! Ive been on it for a few years. FYI, (they email you, but sometimes its too late by the time you get the email. I usually check the site in the morning to see if there is anything to apply to!

Opportunity for any of you who own a business/are self-employed and use accountancy software.

$50 for half an hour, and using this link will net us both an extra $30 if you complete the study.
