It's the same as WhatUsersDo but seems to be higher in 'volume'

$10 per Website test and $15 per Mobile test

I have been with these guys a while now, I was kind of testing the water so I knew there was nothing dodgy. They have a lot more available that WUD but they are smaller tasks for one person to complete at $3 (which I am assuming are the free peek tests) but they go within milliseconds.

The reason I didn't post sooner is because I still haven't done a task for them (so haven't been paid), I am either not eligible or it has already gone before I click it. You can keep the page open and get a ping when a new test has arrived but they get annoying, they also email you when there is one you are eligible for on your dashboard.

Approval process is really quick!

Unfortunately it's almost impossible to pick up the $3 tasks and I've been screened out of the others.

Does anyone who does this do the mobile testing with the Ipevo camera?

Yes, I've been accepted as a mobile IPEVO tester. I've had one test with the camera so far. It's a bit more of a faff to set up, but the extra reward is worth it.

I tend to do tests on my laptop rather than desktop, so the camera isn't usually set up ready. I try to get accepted onto the test by answering any qualifiers, and then take my time setting up the camera

Have had a number of tests last number of days to try for but no camera yet.. doh

I haven't used them for a long time but did a $3 test this morning.

Is it just me or is there a lot less work now? When I started it was almost a constant stream of the $3 tests but now there's hardly anything.

I've only ever seen the peek tests on 2 occasions & didn't manage to catch either! I see plenty of the $10 ones but of course not always eligible. Have done 6 this month thus far.

They seem to be sticking around longer now, although they were mobile ones. I suppose a lot of people have stopped keeping the site open all day if the work load has dropped so much.
I'm working online anyway so might as well.

I tried to complete a mobile test earlier but the survey disappeared when I switched between the website and the User Testing app.
I filed a report and they've added the payment to my account
Hopefully it won't happen again but fair play to UT

I'm new to the site so just started signing up to things such as UserTesting. Has anyone had any luck signing up and getting accepted lately? I received an email that said "Sadly, we have many more applicants than we can accept right now, so we aren't able to invite you to join our panel. We're very sorry to disappoint you, and we really appreciate you taking the time to apply"

Do you think I would be able to apply again in the future?

I don't see why not, [member=2276]denshacam[/member] , but I suspect that they'll either need either a turnover of panel members or an influx of jobs before they accept new ones.

It does explain the slow down in jobs that any one panel member has. Same number of jobs and more panellists means fewer jobs per panellist.

It's worth applying to some of the similar panels. What Users Do is definitely worth applying to. There are others which are more hit and miss in terms of number of tests, but have a similar return on time. Try TryMyUI and Userlytics.

Gah. TWO mobile tests have gone wrong in the last 24 hours.

The first was a standard mobile test, and the recorder borked whilst I was switching between it and Chrome.

The second was a more lucrative IPEVO test just now. Everything was set up - camera positioned and focussed, phone showing in IPEVO Presenter, all qualifying questions passed - but the 'Start' button on the recorder just didn't do anything!

I got $5 for my efforts for the first and just put in a ticket for the IPEVO one. Very frustrating - I've got an excellent rating so I know that UserTesting, the client and I could all get value out of me doing tests if only the recorder worked better!

Been waiting for the Ipevo to get for over 5 weeks now so sent another message to enquire. Decided to check through their support pages again for any info on time scale & discovered an new update from 18th September saying you can only be a camera tester if you're in the US now.
Thinking they're going to brush me off now

I opened an app task but it took me straight to recording facility and presented me with questions but the main content of the app itself didn't appear until the recording part ended so i was answering questions about a site I had not seen and then when the site presented itself the recording bit had stopped if you know what i mean. Now it seems I've got to the last page of this app and i can't move on - no back button or end button. When i try to close the UT app itself I still get the red band across the top of the screen flashing UserTesting...have sent an email but I'd like to switch it off my phone tonight and they aren't open I don't believe?

Any help appreciated if anyone else has experienced this before?

That's all really odd & not had myself so I'm sorry I can't help :-\ All I can say is they should get back to you soon as they are 8 hours behind us.
