Thanks wkd... did you do the same one? I don't know what the problem was - so i just deleted the app from the phone as I couldn't get out of the task and the red band was at the top of my phone with 'User Testing' flashing in it (I thought it might be the recording being processed). I sent a message to UT as well. Trouble is my dashboard now says I am completing a task still so I won't be able to do any more if they come through. Still - i can always reinstall the app....

Really getting fed up now.. I just keep getting this helper application cannot open when I click on open screen recorder and all I get reply wise is they don't know or a generic message which is no help PLEASE CAN ANYONE SUGGEST SOMETHING :'(

I can't seem to set up the mobile testing as I get a message saying the drivers cant be installed on my computer. No idea what the problem is though.

[member=1043]Laurak8[/member] I had problems when first setting up the recorder and have to say I'm not very techie minded but the only browser it will work ok for me is when I use chrome. If i forget and log in with firefox then it goes crazy and wont load properly. Have you tried perhaps uninstalling the recorder and then using a different browser to start over? Maybe worth a try.

Hi thanks I have tried chrome and Firefox and Internet explorer and all I get is an error message saying doesn't support this helper application it's very strange. I was merrily working away doing a few a week then it went quiet then I tried to do a test and this happens. I just get a generic email that tells me to uninstall etc I've tried that.
Frustrated as they've sent me a camera to record work on my phone and now it won't work on there either and I can see 108 jobs I've missed out on

Managed to do 2 quick tests this morning.
I rarely bother to keep it open, which I really should. It's such easy money but if I'm watching Netflix the notifications don't work.

I remember when it used to be packed with tests when I first started though.

Had my first user testing payment today - whoop, whoop! I seem to get notifications on the days I can't do any (when I'm in the office). Hopefully I'll strike it lucky this week ;D

I signed up for UserTesting.com a while back, but never got around to using it properly, I just completed the 2 tests under "Help Center" and I was wondering when will I receive my first test?

Also, was there a signup test as I don't remember doing one, but then again it was months ago I signed up.

Hi Folks,

I have provided a UT for which I was given a one star review by the client.

This has been upheld by UT and they have claimed that there was a screener that I must have failed.

There was no screener.

Has anyone else come across such a situation with this site?

I haven't but I always have to take a screener before every task.

Yeah so did I up to that point.

I believe what's happened is that for some reason the system has malfunctioned and not asked me to take the screener therefore I was not aware there was one so did my best with the UT as you would do if you were unaware.

The fact that UT seem to be ignoring this and have confirmed I have been given a one star review means they don't need to pay me the $10 and the account is now defunct as it will get no more UTs.

Great way to run a business...

Ive not had that happen to me before, surely they would only let you take the test if you passed the screener? Sounds like they made a mistake which is unfair on you.
