Hello everyone

Been a while since i was last on here but have been lurking in the back ground. The last year i have been doing online surveys and a bit of match betting. However with raising a 1 year and discovering i was pregnant with a miracle baby i haven't been as dedicated lately. After ready though Katy kickers January challenge i have been motivated to explore different avenues to make money online. I really dont want to go back to work after my maternity leave. So thought i would give myself a few months to get some new lines of income up and running before making a decision, i only work part time anyway. I have been doing well with surveys it has paid for birthdays and Christmas presents, seems i have good demographics. I am now looking to expand further. Having 2 little ones under 2 limits my time but as the weather is getting nicer it would be great to get out the house and explore. Ive read though posts about apps people have been using, however i only have a Samsung galaxy. Which apps would people recommend on using? also i am interested in starting mystery shopping and possibly some online focus groups. I am not to far from Birmingham so for the right amount i can make a trip there for bigger payouts. Any tips advice where to start next would be very much appreciated. Many thanks

Hey [member=3488]mclough[/member]
Your options for Andoird are

Roamler
Streetspotr
Bemyeye
Click and walk

In regards to mystery shopping if you have never done it before I would start off with working for Market Force as they work with a lot of national chains and their instructions are VERY easy to follow while you find your feet with it all :)

Hope that helps

Streetbees can be worthwhile having too.
Findyr very rarely has tasks, but, they can be very easy and VERY well paid when they do come along.
Market Force is great indeed and it has an app too called Eyes:eek:n which is a handy tool to have too.

Great will check them out to. I have already completed some tasks this week with be my eye. I can't join roamler as people aren't needed in my area. Will keep checking it though as roamler seems well paid.

Roamler isnt really well paid at all LOL... for example... most tasks are in small shops (hard as hell to be incognito) you take up to 30 pics and get paid £2 (That said when some tasks get near closing price can go up... today the Coca Cola fridge checks are now up to £7 from £3) BME has some good earners... one produce check you can earn £11.50 just now... The Ios apps are currently VERY VERY quiet (apart from in London) so your not missing out just now by being android only

I don't know if I am just lazy (a good possibility) however I read some of the bemyeyes visits and they seemed quite indepth for the fee offered, I felt for the things I had to do in such a small shop, it would be very easy to know what you were doing.

The produce check on BME is crap! If you read through the job it even states you're more likely to be paid £4/£5 because it's based on the supermarkets stock and not your effort. And if they say £4/£5 it's probably less than that in some cases. The upto £11.50 is just there to lure folks in.

The Coco-Cola jobs on Roamler are crap! That's why they keep increasing the fee. They want photography style photos in small independents that don't know or care about Roamler. It makes it extremely difficult to complete undercover which is really the way you want to go about these jobs. The letter attached is not authoritative enough and counts for jack. If it was my shop, I would want to see ID or at least a telephone number before random folks start taking photos!

I'm actually having a task mission melt down at the minute. Nothing on T360 for weeks. The quietest it's ever been I'd say and I've been doing it for 2 years. Streetspotr has Lidl jobs but I was completing them for £20 last month, this month they are £6.. might increase. Field agent is slow but one to watch as the recent fragrance job was spot on.

I recommend registering with Assosia and Frontier. The jobs are similar to the task apps but they email the work out. If you're quick to respond, you can book as many jobs as you can complete on a set date. No timer. I've manage about £160 with them so far this month.

Assosia and Frontier are they apps?. I have done a few be my eye jobs this week on 24 pound at the moment in a week. Just getting a m n s sparks card so I can complete 1 more. One of my jobs started at £4 and is now at £9. Problem is I'm a bit nervous to do it as it's a small shop I need to take a picture of a crisp display. Not sure how I can do it and not get caught ha. The money seems good for the amount of effort thoug. My husband has said he will do it for me ha...

LOL aye addictive it is... i did my first task december 2015 have made about 9 grand in that time, but, did get a bit "lazy" and now wont really touch anything under £4.. The BME crisp tasks were absolutely mental, they wanted a pic of EVERY flavour instore (something like 30 pics!!) that failed and they simplified it now only 2 pics required ... but... act fast, it's on "last days" and up to a very generous £9

husband went and did it today for me. 1st time they rejected it as we selected some crisps that wasn't there oops. Went back and did it again it's only 5 mins from our house so no bother really. 9 grand that's fab. Hope I can make that much. It gets me and little one out the house maturnity leave is a bit boring. By my eye seems to be the only one in my area with a few jobs on at the moment. Any other good apps to try?

Just really the ones posted above... most apps are fairly quiet. If there is any way to get an Ios device it IS recommended, Just under £6000 of my earnings is just on T360..Even an Ipad can be used, by using wifi or tethering... quiet just now, but it never lasts long like that, and, with the possibility of Blades going twice weekly... a LOT of money there.

Yeah? thats ideal (Better still... send husband out to DO them LOL) yeah, put Task 360 and Field Agent on his phone.. Task 360 is stupidly quiet but can go nuts (Just been told 2 tasks going live today) Field Agent is looking like becoming a bit of a joke now, but, it's worth having on anyway in case it gets it together

Will do that always good to have them. I made him put mobile expressions on his phone to we both have it easy way to get a voucher every now and again. He proberly would do them for me ha ha. Not sure how he'd feel losing his phone for a day. He can take mine to work for the day instead. I'd have to keep bugging him haven't got a clue how iOS phones work. Always had an android.

Aye... Ios is a weird thing TBH, i too am an Android user, i can never understand why T360 and FA stick with Ios only...poorer photo quality and typing on an Iphone needs the smallest fingers LOL... Tip is check Gumtree/Ebay for 2nd hand Iphone 5s... you could pick one up for £70 or so, then use your phone tethering from your android.. thats what i do, no need for paying for data for it, and, if you don't enjoy doing the Ios apps you can always sell the phone on for more or less what you paid (I had done enough tasks to pay for mine within 2 days)

[member=2821]mabozza[/member] exactly how do you tether with an android? technophobe here! I actually have IOS and Android at the moment but when IOS contract runs out, I won't be renewing!!! ::) If I can tether that would be great! Presumably it just uses your Android data?

Aye... (as long as your provider allows tethering... check with them... most do.. i am on 3 and they do) also called personal hotspot... you basically use your android as a wifi hotspot in much the same way as your home broadband.. you link the iphone to it (one time setup) then whenever you switch on your tethering the iphone will automatically connect... i have unlimited data but tethering an iphone to do apps draws very little data..you dont even need a sim card! My iphone has a Vietnamese payg sim in it from last holiday lol...set up literally takes 5 mins once you find and switch your handsets tethering on... also you can of course use any free wifi hotspot... but not ideal
