Anyone used this system before? I know @katykicker swears by it but i'm just looking into it to see how it could help me.
Basically it involved breaking up your tasks into 25 minute chunks (with a 5-minute break at the end) . So you could say 'I'm going to spend 25 minutes doing surveys' or 'I'm going to spend no more than 25 minutes writing that blog post or Mystery Shopping report'
There's lots of apps / webapps / out there to help you such as the likes of Focus Booster
and others that will work across multiple devices.
I idea is that you can sort of 'put things in place' so you could say on Wednesday you are going to spend 25 minutes on your SEO Internal Linking strategy and then you know that's in place and will be done during the week. Sort of like booking meetings for yourself.
I was just wondering if anyone who works from home / is self-employed etc does this at all?
I think it might be a good way of motivating yourself as well as some of the apps lets you do reports so you can see how long you've spent working on a particular project / assignment / bit of work that perhaps requires multiple 25-minute sessions.
