Hey guys,

I was wondering if any of you had some ideas I could use to make the most of my big and active following on Twitter?

I'm Verified and have over 200,000 followers which I've accumulated over the years through work I do and articles about me in the media.

I just think there must be some way to make the most of these followers!

Thanks for any advice or suggestions!
I would say try get most of them over to Instagram if you do not have that .

I suppose the thing to think about is

Out of the 200,000 followers

How many are just Twitter Eggs

How many are engaged with your content

How many are likely to click on your affiliate links or however you want to monetise it.

I was having this conversation last week with @Chammy and @katykicker - Basically

Would you rather have a blog that gets 80,000+ unique views a month or one that only has 1000 but the users click on your links and earn you £2000 a month passive income

HUGE traffic is all well and good but engagement levels are FAR more important I think...

Very good points there .

I would want active users , for me .

Growing this kind of thing must be difficult.

Sponsors on Instagram seem like a solid way of doing it if people are active, engaged (and obviously those people are transferable to Insta) - if they're just spam accounts, and not real people, then that would be a lot more difficult.

When you say 'utilise' what do you mean? Monetise?

BAsed on what you do, I think some Amazon Aff work would be good. Talk about books you've read and link to amazon. If you have 200,000 followers and can get engagement from 1% then thats 2000 people going through to amazon. Its probable that 5% of those people would buy something from amazon in the next couple of days anyway. Thats 100 getting you AmAff earnings.

@Jon says it right. Its all about the engagement. You also want to make sure you don't flood your audience with tons of links. But I've just seen you auto follow anyone who follows you. Based on that I'm not sure your audience will be as engaged as others. You follow over 100k users - how do you engage with them?
