I see you need need to claim £10.50 for a £10 voucher with them.

Hope this isn't the start of an admin fee being introduced to survey sites when you request payout.

That's frustrating, but I suppose the more people making money online the more competitive these websites need to be, so clearly by passing a fee onto the end user means they can entice businesses to work with them

I had this e-mail from them this morning regarding the change in payouts:

You may have noticed the cost to redeem retail vouchers has increased by £0.50 in Valued Opinions Currency. This means you’ll need £10.50 in your Valued Opinions account to cash out for a £10 retail voucher.

The Valued Opinions panel has grown significantly over the last few years and since more people are completing surveys - we’re having to procure and dispatch more vouchers than ever before.

As a business we’re regularly looking at the numbers and noticed costs associated with buying and delivering vouchers have increased significantly over the last few years.

Unfortunately, this means we can no longer absorb all of these costs and we’ve had to increase the redemption level to continue offering your favourite retail vouchers.

We guarantee that we won’t apply further increases to your redemption levels in 2014

Really does suck and I hope it's not a trend that others carry on with.

It's like we have to pay to be paid by them!!

I agree. Luckily there are plenty of survey sites still that don't do this and hopefully it will stay that way. Otherwise people are going to turn off doing surveys where it costs to redeem.
I am just glad I redeemed my £40 in Vouchers before this happened. Just shows you should always redeem as soon as you can because changes like this can easily happen.
