Its so difficult isn't it, I am finding matched betting almost non-lucrative at the moment. I have almost given up on potential profit offers cause I end up out of pocket (albet only slightly), but slightly increases to more the more offers you do. Also, without starting the obvious, everything is a slow burn unless it is already set up, the apps are quiet at this time of year which is hard. Nevertheless, I'm still trying to explore every possibility.

I also feel that I could work and work and work every second of the day, but there's a limit to everyone's time and stamina. Have two kids, feel that I don't do enough with them, the house isn't as clean as it should be, also I'm one of those people who is exceptionally poor at doing without sleep, all seems like a bit of a struggle right now but guess you just have to keep going. The work doesn't come to you, but tbh getting a bit sick of feeling as if I'm up against it all the time.

I find that todoist helps with this a lot.

I mean, its simplicity is its greatest strength. Ultimately, it's a to-do list app/website.

If you've got a task like "build a website" it can be so intimidating to the point that you don't actually bother to do it. Because that task in itself contains hundreds of smaller tasks. I'm currently building a website and spent a day just adding all the little tasks I need to do to get it to a place where I can push it. So, now I have sections with 160 blog post titles ready to go, bits that have social media stuff I need to do, sections for website work, affiliate work and so on.

All I do then is tell myself I must do at least 2 of those tasks per day and then tick them off. It's so rewarding. Some days I'll go well past that and write 3 blog posts. Others, I'll just add a couple of internal links or tidy up some SEO. It all counts.

Progress, not perfection.

Things have been much quieter in 2020 which can be disheartening. I have a few longterm projects which bring in a bit and then I check all the apps and other websites. Some days I hit my target easily and other days it feels like a mountain to climb. I did some match betting and was lucky with free spins but it does feel that after the easy stuff, it gets much more tricky. I just keep going as I really don't want a normal job.

I have discussed it before that I am influenced by the FI movement, I am not an extremist but I do follow the idea of investing all my spare money. I am hoping that eventually I will make enough passive income from my investments to stop worrying about online work. It's a long term goal but I feel I am getting there steadily.

Just looking back on my earlier post in this threat in the 'innocent' times before COVID-19. That's led me to take steps to set up my singing teaching online for the duration, and will probably free up at least another six hours of teaching time a week. I'm also creating a music theory course online to sell outside my current studio.

I can't say it's not squeaky bum time, because it really is, for a variety of reasons. But without the jolt, and this site, I wouldn't have the clarity to see that that's an option.

Also, if anyone wants to learn to sing, or to learn how to read music, hit me up in a couple of weeks ;)

Keep us informed about the courses. I know someone thinking about music theory although it would be post grade 5 music theory.

Speaking of the virus, I was so, so close to mass buying hand sanitiser a few weeks ago. They're now selling at £100+ a bottle, although it's a bit of a shitty move to exploit the situation like that.

I’ve had a few other platforms recommended as better for sales for music courses, but I think you can put the same course on several platforms (correct me if I’m wrong).

Problem with ebay or having your own site, your income isn’t secured or even certain(especially with PayPal) at lest with surveys, you’ll get Paid something. (Provides you don’t get screened out.) on ebay, you may even lose lower than break even after fees and shipping costs.
