Hi Guys - been a member on here for a few weeks now and feel like it's time to start my own diary for this. Been great reading other people's stories on here.

I'm getting married at the end of March 2018 and as I'm sure you are all aware - weddings cost a fortune! Not to mention the honeymoon....

So I'm aiming to boost my income by at least £200 a month. Mainly through Matched Betting but an increased focus on surveys as well. I started on the 11th of August but I'll just say that it was the whole of August itself. Matched Betting was going brilliantly until my fat fingers accidentally backed Udinese to win twice and cost me £31.00. I had literally just gotten over £100 profit so was most annoyed!

I'm basically at £80.00 profit from MB (another £6 due tonight) currently, which is good considering how nervous I was when starting. I've also worked hard on the following apps/sites:

VYPR - £15.00
Prolific Academic - £27.51 (another £8.20 waiting approval - £35.71)
Roamler - £2.00
Curious Cat - £1.00
Streetsptr - £1.00 (£13 being reviewed)
Pure Profile - £6.25

That's £140.96 in 18 days. If I'd started on the first of the month I'd end August with roughly £242.00 at that rate. I've finally also cashed in £40.00 from One Poll which took months to accumulate.

For Christmas I'm trying to collect Amazon Vouchers through Twitter Insiders and I-Say. Sitting with £8.00 in Amazon with another £30 in I-Say.

So yep that's my story so far. Nothing exciting or crazy dramatic but a start. I'll keep working but doubt I'll hit my £200 target for August but that'll just make me more determined for September.

£200 a month, easy stuff!

Look at Leapforce as well as you can bring in an easy £700 a month from that alone and you are paid by the hour ;)

Yeah I'm going to join Leap Force - keep forgetting about it at work and it says it needs your CV for the application to go through. Of course this is only saved on my home PC!

Best of luck with this... you will continue to get great earning ideas in here.. i am going to point you to an opposite... spending... for your honeymoon.. try arranging it DIY for flights.. use a tool called Skyscanner.. it is far and away the BEST way to find great prices on flights.. the main key is being flexible but even if you have specific dates the search tool is very powerful.. you can put in "fly from" in your case Aiberdeen..but i would advise also do a search from GLA or EDI (tick "nearby airports") as there are better route options from central belt airports.. in the where to box.. leave blank or type everywhere.. on dates.. if you are flexible enough you can select a specific month.. or "cheapest month" then check this search regulary (VERY regularly if poss as flight prices are VERY fluid) a great example i happened upon earlier this year up popped Cape Verde direct from Glasgow an outbound flight at £112 return at £121 10 days later... every other price for every other day in month was about £450 one way.. so great weird bargains can happen... then check Trivago for great prices on hotel ( @Jon has a loophole that i just cant find at the mo that can get refunds if a room becomes cheaper before you go) i now only use these tools for my holidays and pay miles less than the guy in the next seat.... you fancy a Foo Fighters trib for your wedding band?? TMS mates rates!! :D:D

I'd freaking love a Foo Fighters tribute band :D

My fiance on the other hand....

Daily update -
Total to 28/8 - £140.96
29/8 - £7.90 on Matched Betting but a slow day on surveys leads to a total of £9.90 = £150.86

Very slow day on Prolific for me. Missed 2 surveys despite being glued to the website the whole day at work!

Girl ;) And aye she's alright I suppose. Just prefers Taylor Swift to good music like the Foo's etc.
Oops.. apologies... Taylor Swift!!!.. have no more to say!!! Hehe.. on topic again.. not romantic at all... but some of the chain hotels around heathrow... Ibis... Travelodge.. the new T4 Premier Inn all do great prices in advance with great transport links into C London compared to city centre hotels... as i say purely from a money saving perspective

30/8 - a much better day. Mainly helped by doing a Matched Bet on horse race as opposed to waiting for a football match. Amazing how much quicker the money is available! A nice £21.23 profit yesterday just from one bet alone saw me get more than double what I earned the whole day before.

Surveys were better as well with £8.52 completed in total - mainly thanks to a £4.50 Prolific Academic survey on drinks. Have already had it approved so that's my PA overall total now at £36.61 since joining on the 11th.

Overall yesterday I gained £29.75 taking me up to £180.61 since the 11th of August. I've a £30 bet with Unibet that will take away some of the profit from yesterday so would be surprised to hit £200.00 but I'm still delighted with my overall takings. Babysitting tonight so won't even have time to look at surveys after 5pm so going to be a hectic day!

BME? That By My Eye? I don't have that on my phone but sounds like I really should haha. I use Roamler and Streetsptr but live miles away from the city centre and have had a hectic week after work so not had a chance to get out and about.

£180.61 was my total up to the start of yesterday....

What an awful day survey wise. Made £2.88 in surveys mainly down to Prolific Academic not offering me a single one (already done one today!). VYPR continues to be nice, easy and quick as I should cash out my 4th fiver in 3 weeks today.

I did find time to put on my Ladbrokes Matched Betting though which led to a £24.10 profit. Only downside was that both of my horses won meaning my Betfair is down at £1 while my Ladbrokes sat at £156! Think this will be a weekend off it as I need to get that money back into my account before continuing. I say that now....tomorrow morning I'll be sitting just itching to keep going with it!

So I think that puts my August total to £207.59. Started on the 11th of the month so I'm delighted with that effort. My personal monthly target is £250 and I would have smashed that if I had been going from the 1st.

Onwards and upwards!

I hate when that happens. Although my recent bets have all ended up in the Exchange I now have very little in my bank. Oh for the days when we have more money to play with lol. We'll get there :)

Agreed! Happened again to me again yesterday! Hate seeing my bank balance so low as I wait for the money to come back in.

I was too busy at the weekend to even look at surveys, roamlers etc so have had a pathetic start to September. Must have only made about £2 so far! Will be £6/7 up on a MB later today though so will hit my first tenner for the month. It's a nightmare finding the time to do it at the weekend!

August - £207.39
September - £2.45

An awfully slow start to the month coupled with family being in hospital has meant very little progress has been made. Not even had a chance to update my spreadsheets or anything so looking like a rubbish month! Birthday in a couple of weeks so I'll be counting that as money making haha.

Quick run through of the totals...
VYPR - £5
I-Say - £5
Streetsptr - £5
Matched Betting - £14.40

£29.40 without counting up all the other survey sites that I've not cashed out on.

Onwards and upwards. You can't help people being in hospital or other things getting in the way of these LONG TERM goals.

Are you doing any of the other higher paying work such as Leapforce / Appen etc.

Not had a chance sadly - got an exam due in the next month so most of my spare time is spent studying. Once that's out the way though I'll be signing up.

Slightly better Friday in terms of survey - highlight being a £9 Prolific survey which took well over an hour to complete. Total of £22.73 from PA this month which I hadn't included in my previous totals.

Also a roughly £35 win from MB but will need to roll it over to withdraw so will end up with about £30 up. Was desperate for Man City to not beat Liverpool so my Betfair would be a healthy balance. 5-0!

Also had some free spin from Mr Green which has given me an extra £3.14 but I have 5 spins a day for the next fortnight basically. At this rate I'll end up with another tenner.

So £29.40 + £22.73 + £30 + £3.14 = £85.27

Had a friend visiting from Switzerland at the weekend who kindly gave me a tenner for petrol money for taking him to and from the airport. That's in the wedding pot now so £95.27. Much better considering I had a rather pathetic first few days.

Still in the process of rolling over my bets from Betsafe which will be finished tonight with £30 profit roughly. Had to bet my winnings 6 times basically and it's finally worked in my favour that one of the bets won at Betfair. Means I can start another in time for tonights Champions League action.

So to date -

VYPR - £5 (at 63% of next £5)
I-Say - £5
Streetsptr - £5
Matched Betting - roughly £45.00
Prolific Academic - £24.83
Mr Green free spins - £3.81
Pure Profile - £1.70
Curious Cat - £0.94

£91.28 so far. Haven't included £7.30 from One Poll because it takes so blooming long to cash it out!

Getting there. Behind on my target but now I've some money in Betfair I'm more comfortable starting some more MB. Also finally got some time available to look at Leapforce so will be applying for them tonight. Fiances wedding dress sadly costing double what we expected so no more excuses for not making extra money!
