What Affiliate programs

Affiliate marketing seems to be the best way of generating income. I'm not sure what im doing when it comes to starting out and searching seems like information overload. wondering if anyone has any advice on what's the best programmes for beginners. Programs with the best teaching materials.
Would clickbank university be worth while?
