If anyone can give me some advice I would be very grateful. I have been applying for jobs online now since the beginning of January and have only been successful with the Lionbridge Ads Rating task. I've applied for loads on Respondent, never had a job on Neevo and my login page for Appen has been blocked with the same message for nearly two weeks and they have been rubbish with responding to my emails. I'm basically stuck with low paid surveys and the odd Intellizoom task. I desperately need to up my income to pay off my debts, I'm game for anything apart from betting. Am I doing something wrong?

Aye up Steph

Hope you are well

You're not doing anything wrong!

First, well done on getting onto the social media rating task with Lionbridge as at least that is GUARANTEED INCOME each month for at least the next 12 months.

Respondent is a demographics game. You'll get there, just take persistence

Never done Neevo personally.

What about Mystery Shopping or even apps like Roamler or BeMyEye

It sounds like you are wanting to take more control of the money you bring in more instead of being reliant on these companies offering you work so how about doing something like freelancer writing over at PeoplePerHour or starting off at Fiverr

An extension of that would be blogging which I know wouldn't bring in money TODAY but can be leveraged further down the line to bring in a decent income

Thank you Jon. I have been looking into audio typing and transcribing, I have certificates in typing, but the exam process looks very scary also I'm not very good at understanding people with strong accents!
I have tried Roamler but never pasted the test on there either I will give it another go.
I was interested in the chat from home work, but the 500-600 messages a week sounds impossible when I already work part time.
Thank you for replying.

I think if you are sort of settled in the 'survey comfort zone' then you need to sort of jolt and break out of that

you WANT more money and surveys aren't going to give you that. Well they will but only by driving yourself crazy during the process lol

Try new things, find out what works, what doesn't etc.

If you look at the monthly challenge threads the people that make the most money week on week are those that have MULTIPLE streams of income and do lots of different things ;)

Yes I'm definitely going to ditch the surveys, I have sat all day sometimes on these and only made £10.
Are any of the mystery shopping apps paid weekly?
I look at the monthly money making challenge all the time, its very inspiring how some make thousands.

The mystery shopping apps like Romaler, BeMyeye are just instant cashout. You push the button on the app and it goes to your paypal account

If you mean more traditional mystery shopping then MarketForce pay every 2 weeks ;)

Have you tried signing up to UTest? They payout every fortnight and once you’ve got a few jobs completed with them the invites start coming through. I tend to avoid the bug hunting jobs as I don’t really have time for them just now and I just sign up to the test case type ones but there has been quite a good few projects on there lately that have been nice payers.

I wouldn’t count my chickens on Appen really, I signed up ages ago and gotten emails about projects starting and then gotten emails saying that they’ve got enough people at the moment so communication seems pretty bad.

I’ve had a few jobs through Neevo, there’s a skills and badges tab beside the work history tabs etc, check there isn’t a test in there waiting for you to do and then you might get more emails about jobs.

Try signing up to isoftstone as well as well as the other things that Jon has suggested. Worth trying different things and seeing what works for you.

In recent years, I've found that to be successful in earning online you need to just go for everything you can.

Get all the earning apps, worthwhile survey sites, apply for things like uTest, do some mystery shopping.

It does all add up but it's not as easy to find one source of major income as it once was. The other alternative is to build a website with a long-term view of earning from it, too.

The key really is to have as many opportunities as you can manage.

I am not sure there are any real quick money-making schemes as many of the income streams you do need to work at and build over time. The mystery shopping apps are your best bet for a quick cash out jobs, and if you are already doing Lionbridge then that will be a weekly payment you can access. You say not betting but if you have not done match betting before it would be worth looking at as you can make some serious money quickly and you can limit your risk on this. There will still be delays in getting access to funds but if you can look at when you would need access then you can plan the time you spend match betting. For example, I knew I needed to pay large bills at the end of each month, so from the start of each month, I would put all spare cash I had into Match Betting build my banks up and then around 10 days before the end of the month I would look to see what I needed to withdraw and by when. This allowed me to maximise each month effectively.

Redwigwam seems to be a good place to get some regular work as well.

I would take what Jon said about looking at the monthly challenge threads and see what others are doing, I would think anyone on here would be happy to tell you more about anything they do.

Thank you for the tips. I have tried UTest but they came back and said I need to re-do the test because the sound wasnt very clear so I'm going to do that then hopefully I will start getting something's from them.
I will look into isoftstone is that like Lionbridge?

I don't want to do match betting because that's why I am in debt in the first place got too addicted to gambling.
I will look into Redwigwam thanks. I have been following your monthly earnings and it is very impressive you must work really hard to achieve that amount of money.

Tern for mystery shopping, only take a few days to pay.
Neevo send them a message to say you're not receiving tasks and keep an eye on the thread on here because if someone else posts the link you can usually use it even if you didn't personally get sent the task.

Neevo is very hit and miss. It was dead for me for about 6 months then I had quite a lot come though in one go. You have to keep checking it.

You are right about ditching surveys although I continue to champion the three P's: Populous, Pinecone and Prolific.

I normally get two £50 cheques a year from Populous, £10 to £20 a month from prolific. Probably less from Pinecone, but they did send me some soup once!

It is more down to planning to be honest. Mystery shopping, for example, I plan my month well ahead and group jobs together. I tweak and adjust all the time. Never be afraid to contact companies to let them know where you are going to be as it is a great way to pick up extra jobs that can make a day really worthwhile or to move jobs around, they are normally very accommodating. But as a tip, I tend to try and leave a few days at the end of the month free as last-minute jobs can pay really well and can be quite straight forward to do.

I am not a hungry hippo, as I call them where I am, (you need to have long arms to shoot in and grab items) I do not look to get food bargains but when I see them I will plan my other food purchases around any discounted food I get. So I have just picked up some hot dog rolls and some burger rolls for 10p a pack. So I bought some hot dogs, so that's tomorrow's meal with some wedge potatoes sorted and the burger buns have gone in the freezer as I have some burgers in there already. This can then save quite a bit over a month and more than you realise. If you are looking at your food budget I tend to use Muscle Food when I see a really good deal and fill my freezer up, it means I can always make a really good and nutritious meal without having to worry and normally won't cost a great deal.

:)
I am always going to think of that metaphor now when I see people rummaging through the reduced cabinet in the chilled food section at Tesco. It fits them very well.

Just checking in with you. Was wondering how things were going for you? Are you finding new ways to bring money in now that you've been around TMS a bit ;)

Hi Jon

Yes I'm really into it now thanks to TMS, the people on here are very helpful. I'm working on Utest, Intellizoom is offering me loads of work everyday, I've joined loads of different apps recommend by people and today I've just completed the test for Operatorchat so fingers crossed I will get on there.

I keep an redwigwam. They pay weekly. Some of us are doing quite well on intellizoom at the momment. I think you need to sign up to quite a few things and then spend time on what is going to pay the best.
