I'm wanting to focus my time as I'm limited to what I can do and I'm trying to focus my efforts where I'm most likely to get a good return.

I'm aiming for survey sites which have a good pay per survey, as I know there are some sites with really low rates (which I'm trying to avoid).

Is anyone willing to share their best paying survey sites? Also what IS a good pay per survey? What would you expect?

I seem to be doing quite well on Valued Opinions. Can't comment on others yet as I've only recently joined up so it's early days yet

Opinion world I can't speak highly enough of

Racked up £2-£5 a day on there easily

Paid for my nice 32" HD TV in the bedroom entirely in amazon vouchers from there

Would you like to refer me? It's on my list of potential signups :D
I know not all the sites have a referral facility though

There is no referral code for Opinion World (or that I know of) - Just sign up, do the profile surveys that don't pay at the start and away you go.

Thank you.

Wish I had an iPad/iPhone - it seems to be where it's all happening. I'll have to enter a few more competitions to try and win one I think!

my iPad was entirely paid for my 'working from home' money. In this case Roamler!

I earn £25 a week doing the Roamler flower tasks so typically £100 a month

Did it for 5 months, and hey presto, iPad paid for without touching my regular income.

I think it depends on your profile which survey site works best for you. I'd suggest setting aside a day to sign up to as many as possible, complete all the profiling surveys then see what happens. After a few months you'll know which ones are best for you. I seem to earn regular money with mysurvey, valued opinions and global test market.

Valued Opinions and GlobalTestMarket are my regulars - and I'm starting to get invited to better paying opportunities now, product testing etc. I signed up towards the end of January.

I deliberately haven't signed up to any others as I wouldn't want to be doing too many more surveys than I get offered by these two stalwarts. That sinking feeling you get when you're asked the same question in twenty different ways about what personality you think a tampon brand has (sorry chaps :p) - is it cheeky/playful/grumpy/selfish/happy etc. Err...they make tampons?! My male friend wittily suggested "a stuck up person?" ;D

I'm interested to see you do MySurvey too Tulip, as my account with them was "deactivated" - I assumed that this was because GTM and MySurvey are under the same umbrella?

I'm sure I wrote some blurb (ah yeah I did http://www.themoneyshed.co.uk/earning-online-the-beginners-board/beginners-guide-to-earning-money-from-home/msg8/#msg8) that talked about gained access to more higher paying opportunities once you push through the pennies so to speak with surveys

Valued Opinions and Global Test Market are also my favourite ones.
Also EasyOpinions is a good one regular cint surveys and only £4 instant Paypal cash out.
I have been paid several times and the cint surveys they send are well paid.
Here is the Link:

Can you advise about Opinion World? I thought I read that you earn good money from this, but from my experience all their survey's seem to be prize draws and no actual payment. I must be doing something different.

The prize draw ones are basically profile ones if I remember correctly. Once you get through those you will get to the points ones...forever

and what do points make.......pounds!
