As a kid growing up music was such a huge part of growing up, especially during the teenage year and while I might not have the time I used to have to go to loads of concerts I am an avid user of Spotify so I was wondering what you 3 favourite albums were?

for me

Counting Crows: August and Everything After

My sister introduced me to this album and band around 1995 and I was absolutely obsessed with it. I already liked the REM type sound and this was just that 1000x. Annoyingly I've still never seen them in concerts!

Radiohead : The Bends

I got into Radiohead a little late just as OK Computer was coming out and dominating the charts but it was The Bends that I always thought was their best album! If only because it came about around a time that Britpop had got very middle of the road with the same 3 guitar chords on repeat!

Kanye West : Graduation

It pains me to say it but I loved those first Kanye Albums. I know it was endless sampling but his tunes back then were just so damn fun and catchy before the says of me being a total nutjob that he is now lol

Firstly Quo-Live! When Quo were at the absolute best, this was recorded over 3 nights at the famous Glasgow Apollo in 1976, i was at the gigs my first ever live gig at 8 years old.. hooked from then

Next Rush - Exit Stage Left... This is the greatest live album ever recorded... i was a late bloomer to find Rush, sadly missing out on the great days in the 70s... i was absolutely blown away when i first discovered Rush.. 3 guys apparently doing all that amazing music... surely live it would be full of backing tracks...Nope! every song recreated live as perfect as in the studio, quite simply the 3 best musicians put on the planet.

Finally one that i doubt anyone would have ever heard of.. Glasgow- Zero Four One... I was their roadie way back in the 80s, where i learnt all the tricks of the music trade, toured all over with them, i eventually bought the drummers MASSIVE Premier kit (43 drums!!) which was my very first kit.. The album recording was also my first recording session as we got to add backing vocals
