What is it that makes you want to earn extra money?

Is it your financial position?
Are there things that you want to buy that are just out of your reach?
Is it that doing Mystery Shopping etc fits in better with your lifestyle?

For me it is all about trying to help provide some money at home.

As a stay at home mum I am pretty much tied to the home 24/7 and earning money from home gives me a lifeline to the real world in some sense.

I only do surveys at the moment but want to break out into the higher paid tasks in the future.

For me, it's savings.

I'll be honest and say I've become a bit obsessed with having money in the bank and a safety net.

If I don't manage to save £xxx a month, I feel like I've failed.

It's not healthy, really. :-\

Usually it's a safety net/money for treats type thing, but right now it's covering some big bills/expenses. Every little helps...

Gonna have to be honest here and say we had quite an expensive Christmas in our house this year and I am really scratching around to find ways of earning money.

not sure how it got like this but at least there are sites like this that can help us out

I want to be able to have some money to spend on our baby Grandson, we managed lots of nice presents for his first Christmas and I was proud of that, but I would have loved to have been in a position to have opened a little savings account for him for when he is older and added to it at Christmas and Birthdays.

I'm just after extra bit of so if I see something I like whether that be clothes or something for the house, I can just pick it up and not have to worry.

I am lucky to be a stay at home mum but I started my business so we could afford the little extras. I do have a few small debts to pay off but only family loans so interest free :D any extra money I make online is a big help.

I'm a post-grad student with no job, so just really, really struggling financially. I was sick in 2012 and couldn't work and I've never been eligible for any aid so it's really been difficult!

To have financial freedom, never having to worry where money is going to come from to pay for this, that or the other! To have fabulous holidays every year and provide a wonderful life for me and my Andrew. To have good health. To help others to a better life.

For me, its to have some treats, to pay for things like Christmas, and to have some money in case of emergencies.

All my life, I've always made money purely from working. I want to earn money by myself because it will be highly rewarding to achieve that. Additionally it's a step towards financial independence!

Good point about flexibility.

I don't know what bits and bobs you do to earn cash but things like 63336 for me let me work whenever I want however task based income like Field Agent or Roamler mean I have to do their tasks at certain times.

Flexibility is key I think in being successful at earning money online and being consistent at it.

For me it's been about repaying debts quicker, online earnings have made the difference from struggling each month to having room to breath in my budget. It's remarkable how a little extra can make such a difference.

"Look after the pennies and the pounds look after themselves"! The motto of grannies everywhere and maybe a standard we've lost along the way somehow?

I want to get my debts paid off before my daughter goes off to uni in approximately 5 years as my income when she hits 18/19 will drop by at least £230 a month (which is the child support I get from her dad) and that's not including what will happen with my benefits which I'm currently living on. I have 5 years to pay off £8800 and only clearing £100-300 a year due to interest is no longer an option, and neither is a consolidation loan. However I also can't afford to go out to work, no childcare during most of the school holidays means I've got to earn in the most flexible way possible.

3 reasons:

1. I love the novelty and thrill of making money from doing silly things like buying ice cream or downloading an app
2. I love the challenge of trying to build an online blogging empire - mwahahhahaha (sorry if that sounds a bit Lex Luther!)
3. I would love to be able to earn enough online to give up my day job (this might sound a bit strange since I make a decent living as a lawyer, but the Government hates us at the moment, it is relentlessly trying to destroy a legal system that used to be the envy of the civilised world, and it's just not fun anymore)

Advising parents how to find the best safest car seats for their kids is much more rewarding than having to deal with accident fallout after the event.

I'm a SAHM and whilst we are OK financially and I do have savings, I find myself being incredibly cautious about dipping into them because I know I'm not putting anything back in.

Well I've banked about fifty quid in the last few weeks, which whilst I won't be retiring any time soon, does make me feel a little more positive about paying out for stuff. I also feel more productive and busy and I like that.
