[member=3099]Thiftyhusband[/member] - I have a collectables niche that I've been working for years. You're right about there being good times of year to buy - dependent on what you collect.
If (and I don't) but if I collected tennis memorabilia I would sell in the lead up to Wimbledon and buy in the autumn/winter. You just need to think about what you are doing and you can make a decent profit.
It is always about the knowledge at end of the day from what you have gathered or learned from others. That profit at the end is always worth the effort of learning it.

[member=3099]Thiftyhusband[/member] - honestly, we would be happy with one. We need to see how the cat's react to us first (puts catnip in pocket before meeting them)
Hahaha you little cat briber you. I am sure they will love you.
My sister adopted a rescue cat called Kitty (looked just like Felix from the advert) and she started off so timid but after a while (and maybe the help of another cat lol) she became really affectionate towards us.

Sometimes it's the simple things.....!

It made me smile because of the number of different places we found her, the first time we heard bumping down the stairs and saw her coming down on her stomach, second time she walked down the stairs. After that we sorted her room a bit and got the stair gate on her door usable so at least she couldn't escape (worry was she'd fall down the stairs, or end up getting to something she shouldn't).
The next hour I went up every few minutes and I'd find her either stood at the stair gate, giggling when I saw her, once she was sat on the chair we have in her room reading a book (all the books were above her reach though so she must have stood on the chair to get them!) Once she was sitting in a pile of cuddly toys, only once did she actually shout to tell me she'd got out (again).
Luckily, that morning my wife had started getting the room ready to convert her cotbed into a bed, moving the chair out (we want something more suitable for a little girls rooms) and replacing the changing table for actual storage.
