German Shepherd cross Border Collie called Sasha. She belongs to my boyfriends sister, but we are looking after her until his sister has her own place again. Had her since October and probably will continue until March/April time.

She is absolutely beautiful and so well behaved! My boyfriend puts it down to his training of her when his sister first got the dog. Aww there was a cocker spaniel bounding along beside us yesterday, pretty sure that's the reason I had flecks of mud all up my trousers and coat but it was such a lovely dog I didn't really care :D

Guess the thing that has made me smile today is the kindest of others.

A stranger to me offered his drive for my car after he heard it was vandalized the other day :)

That's so nice. Yesterday my neighbour knocked my door and said he noticed my tyres were a bit low on air and did I want him to put some air in!! So lovely. I have an old car so the air slowly leaks from tyres and loses pressure. He was out there about 15 mins pumping them all up.

Faith in humanity restored! Lived in a flat with Rubbish neighbours for past 3 years, now in a house with proper neighbourly neighbours, it's wonderful :)

Had a growth scan :) Our daughter weighs approximately 2.75lbs now - exactly where she should be :D

I took my lovely midwife with me, which was unusual, and as if by magic the appointment problems I was having seeing my thyroid specialist (needed to make a paediatric plan for my unborn baby before she is born) have been dealt with. Now have my next 3 appointments and growth scan booked in.

So happy :D My consultant has only noticed today that I have lost so much weight... I've officially been told I can eat anything I want, I don't have a problem with sugars and I can eat high fat foods everyday...!!! HAHA. How funny. So I've come home, pushed the boat out, bought loads of foods... What do I eat... 4 crackers with a piece of cheese and ham!

Anyway, the main thing is that our baby is growing well and so far everything is going textbook - keep your fingers crossed for me as I want to get as close to 40 weeks as possible!

I'm 29 weeks so 11 weeks officially. But I've got a few health problems anyway so possibly only 7-8. Hoping for later. I know near the end I'll want her here because I'm already in pain but still, want what's best!

I'm sure the time will fly by and she'll be here in no time. Hope it doesn't get too painful for you though.

That's great news Katy!

Yesterday to make me smile was my dad popping round. His 65th birthday and he spent about 30 mins of it after leaving my house trying to replace the bulb in his headlight. The guy across the road noticed and came down to help him - iPhones make good torches.

This morning got a text from my other half to say he made it to work on time. He's just started a new job and the last 2 days he's been late because of traffic.

It being a sunny windy day so I can hang stuff out on the washing line and it actually has a possibility of drying.

Seeing that Robot Wars is coming back made me smile today, been rewatching old episodes on Challenge recently and remembered how much I used to enjoy it.

I remember Robot Wars! I'm looking forward to X-Files returning though.

Today we got another dumping of snow (although it's getting a bit cold now). Also got coffee in the post to test - was hoping to have a rest day from exercise but ooh it was strong coffee so need to work that off or I'll never sleep tonight! ;D

Finding a Lindt chocolate teddy bear I'd forgotten about and stealth eating it behind the kitchen door away so I didn't have to share

Told my husband I was treating him today, to some new clothes.

Like most men he HATES going shopping for himself. Anyway he got a jumper, coat, 4 t-shirts and a few pairs of jeans, and all for below what I had in mind to spend (didn't give him a budget really but I had one in mind). Really pleased :)

Also had the last of my pregnancy jabs (whooping cough) so feeling proud - AND I've gone THREE DAYS without sickness. My most in 7 months!

[member=920]katykicker[/member] at least you don't have [member=258]alditoharrods[/member] problem of your husband having more clothes than you. When we came back from america I came back with so many clothes (mainly tshirts)

I saw your 'I have a present for you' t-shirt - was good!

We had some snow where I live! I'm in Cheshire (North West)

Also I walked into work today but if I had driven I would have been caught in a huge traffic jam so that was lucky!
