What has made you smile today?

My Mum had open heart surgery in February (hence being quiet here for a few months as we've had a busy time) and today she's out in the garden playing with my daughter Daisy and having a great time.

This is lovely for two reasons.
1. Mum is on the mend properly.
2. I am working in the spare room in peace and quiet!

Watching my daughter and her bridesmaids having their wedding hair trial today. I don't think they will be smiling when they take out the hundreds of pins and tease out the backcombing and hairspray though

I remember the wife having her 'dress rehearsal' for the hair and makeup, she was gone for hours lol

It took 2 hours for the three of them to get just their hair done. They're doing their own make up.
