Ploughing through my to-do list today and while it keeps growing by 3 items for every 2 I complete I think I *might* get it done by 1pm if I go SUPER fast.

I have just got another place in the London Marathon ballot (ran on a ballot place in 2017 as well!) That’s a 50% success rate which is way above the odds! I have to defer it to 2020 though as it’s a week later than normal and we fly to Florida the day before. Oh and my foot is STILL broken and running isn’t allowed.

I've been learning Italian on the Duolingo app, and today I reached a 9 day streak, which is pretty good for me! I find having something like this to use my brain is helping me to feel more focused on this money making project of mine!

I feel we've been waiting 10 years for this all to end! (well we have!)

Only a month more to wait!

My local cinema is doing a double-header with Infinity Wars.

I'm not sure I could handle that much Marvel in one go!

Enjoy it - I'm hoping to catch it during an early saturday morning showing.

My middle child (yes, the difficult one) responding to my offer of calpol before bed To reduce her pain, as she had a tooth taken out by the dentist (unplanned). “No, I won’t die”. Fair enough then!

It sure is. This particular child must have had it as part of her nightly bedtime routine as she was such a nightmare teething. So perhaps that’s why she doesn’t like it ‍♀️

Nearly 40 years ago for me. I remember seeing Jedi in the cinema but was a bit too young for Empire when that was released. This resulted in the strange sequence I first watched them in: Star Wars, Jedi, Empire. Which rather messed up the impact of the whole "No, I am your father" thing. Of course that twist is totally screwed up now as its set up right from episode 3.

No spoilers please Jon, I dont think I'm going to get to see it until after Christmas.

P.S - This is the order I think a newbie who has never seen any star wars before should watch the films in:
Rouge One
Episode 4
Episode 5
Episode 6
Episode 3 (as a flash back)
Episode 7
Episode 8
Episode 9
Solo (just for fun)

Eps 1 and 2 can stay on the shelf

Saw it

enjoyed it

HOWEVER I will say this

I think people that grew up with the original trilogy aren't as emotionally invested in the current characters (rey, kylo etc) as they are the OG crew (luke, leia, han)

but kids they are seeing these films are the opposite

Well, I've just logged into my TopCashBack account for the first time since Nov 2019 and found £64.56 in there that I can withdraw. I think it was about this time last year I bought through them but never got the cashback despite chasing a few times, but it finally arrived. I need to trawl through all my other accounts... Part happy, part embarrassed.
