I was pissed off today, with my cat pissing everywhere. Off to the vets Wednesday (first slot with a vet who can deal with her as she's super poorly and everyone just wants to euthanise her) to fingers crossed for us!

How did your cat get on Katy?

Our dog has just been to the vet for a tooth extraction, estimate was around £200, actual bill nearer £400 :(

That's annoying?!
Has dog has £10,000 legs now due to all the bionic work in his legs!

The ridiculous follow/unfollow culture on Twitter. It's really pissing me off. :-\

Yes, the follow unfollow culture drives me crazy! The way I look at it if you want to follow me, fine and if you don't that's fine too. Don't follow me just to try to get me to follow you and make you look ultra successful!!

I've seen people on Instagram with thousands of followers yet very low engagement, seems a bit childish to me.

We are selling our flat and we have an offer subject to satisfactory survey. The survey is today and I have spent 3 days cleaning and mostly aromatizing the flat nicely because I was told it is important to be presentable and smell nice. Obviously it shouldn't matter but bad smells make the surveyor prod more around. So what do I do? 30 min before the man comes I smash a bottle of vinegar in the kitchen! I just want to cry now, all flat stinks of vinegar (and vanilla).

I'm surprised they said to have the house in top order

Surveys are just like kicking a tyre on your care when you take it in for a service!

surveys are next to useless in a lot of cases, I know someone that bought a flat and then within the first month the boiler packed up, the ceiling came in and much more...!!

They really aren't that thorough, try not to worry.

Thanks, the man is here now. He is about 80 and has a toolbox. We were told it is the most in depth survey but I have the feeling it is the mid range one. Fingers crossed.

Can I go back to bed :-\ There was a break in last week to a house in the street behind ours (stealing cars). Another happened yesterday in the same street while a 16 y/o was in the house - smashed window but she scared them off. So pretty paranoid now.

Also kitchen tap which has been leaking for months decided to just flow with little water pressure. Just googled for fixes. The flow stopped but no water was coming out. Back to googling. Went back through and it's back to dripping/working again ???

I need a new house ::)

You have my sympathy. My house seems to be conspiring against me too. I'm sorry to hear about the break ins. It really does shake you up. We got burgled years ago while we were all upstairs sleeping. The evil barstewards even drugged our dog so that he wouldn't bark. I still don't like coming downstairs at night, all these years later.

Can't even imagine how it feels to be burgled but even the thought has me coming up with lots of plans (I'm setting off the CO alarm if I hear glass smashing). Just one of the downsides of being in the house alone all day but thankfully next door also works from home. My other half has told me to lock myself in bathroom rather than confront them. If I wasn't pregnant I'd be at them with a bat ;D

Thought my car had a slow puncture & took it in to get fixed. Turns out it's the wheel causing the problem so it's either a new wheel or a refurb - and they're alloys too :mad:
