People retweeting my comp posts on Twitter, instead of taking the time to go to the promoter's page and retweeting the original post. Not only are they probably not getting entered, but if its only one entry per person, they could be disqualifying me. Try explaining that to them and you just get abuse! And trawling through the notifications for wins or something that I want to see is becoming rather tedious.

Prize Magazines have just announced that they've gone into liquidation. I've been subscribing to puzzle mags with them for 29 years, and have won lots of nice prizes from them, so its a shame it has come to this.
But, I wish that I had gone with my gut instinct that told me not to pay out £500 for a five year sub to a mag last year! That's £400 down the Swanee, not to mention the lifetime subs that I have to a further five magazines! I dare say I won't see a penny.

Having a normal day here and suddenly I hear drip drip drip in the kitchen and see water coming through the ceiling!!
oh crap! So ring a plumber to get one round before the entire ceiling leaks through. In the meantime, I pop upstairs to see if it's that bath or taps that are leaking and can't see anything there. Turns out it was our toilet leaking water from the back of the basin so they are coming back to fix that to tomorrow and in the meantime, we've got to pour a bucket of water into the system before we use the toilet

Not that its a competition, I can beat your plumbing storey.
There is a leak in the bathroom. It is coming from the flat above us. They don't leave in the flat, the post-box is full of their post and we have no idea who is living there.
The mgmt company have no interest in helping us, telling us its between us and the flat above.
This is going to be a long hard slog.
