@Jon I been thinking about your feedback and on reflection, I like the idea of adding in some top tips into future videos. It could be tips that don't need too much maintenance such as best time to go weather-wise etc.

I am not keen on my voice.

I think you need to get over this. A lot of you tube videos fail to deliver their potential because the creator has only used captions, or God forbid, that awful robot voice thing. If you give a commentary to the video you can add so much more detail and make it more interesting, as well as inject some of your own personality that will make the channel 'yours'. Otherwise you just end up with a powerpoint presentation set to music.

Very interesting, I am sitting on my debit card at the moment, how easy is the software to use. All I have ever used is the Microsoft Video editor which is complicated and basic so very frustrating. A few of my horsey friends Vlog and they have very expensive kit that I wouldn't want to get into.

I had a laugh to myself when I read your comment because it was just after I had recorded a PowerPoint presentation for a channel update with background music. I have taken note I will go out of my comfort zone and record my voice over a video. So no Dalek voices, promise.

The software is very easy - I think it is a free download.

the hardware + the software gives you some of the more interesting stuff, but for just editing video, you might find software on an actual computer easier.

I use iMovie on the mac (and occasionally on my phone/tablet).

You're going to hate me but you never get anywhere without being honest.

If this is for affiliate marketing (ie, for you to earn from) I would like LOADS of screen recordings showing how it all works, how the bets are placed, how the PM tools function, showing off your profit.

I would cut the time from 8 mins a video WAY down to maybe 5.30mins

Just basically jazz it up

and also do a 'shocked face' youtube thumbnail where you are surprised by how much you have earned
