My latest post about restricting screen time.

Thank you to those of you who brought the issue with my submit comments button to my attention. I am going to see someone the week after next about all the techie things I want to change on my blog.

I don't think I've had any problems with submitting comments, at least I've certainly not noticed any. Have you received the comment I left on this post (can't remember if I left it yesterday or this morning)? x

My latest post

https://lauradoeslife.co.uk/home/why-i-bought-a-spray-mop-for-my-home/

I've used an Amazon Affiliate link in here and I'm not sure if that was a great idea, because I am not actually getting that many views right now? It is a genuine post on a product I actually purchased and love however!

Hi Laura,

I don't think they cleanly fit the style of your site. My recommendation would be use the 'text' links when you type Amazon on that page, and when you type 'spray mop'. I'd also suggest take your own photos as it looks more like a natural blog post.

saying that, I do use a proper amazon link also. Check out this post.

You can see the structure I've used. But thats for me - other people do things differently.

:)

p.s. I notice you are posting as 'admin', set up an account called 'Lauradoeslife' with admin level access and log in using that. It will help make your site look more 'natural' but also when you reply to people's comments it will read like you are replying, not just the 'admin' of the site - even though that is also you! :D

Read this post with interest. Brought the husband a record player for Christmas. Starting to regret it slightly now....vinyls are taking over my house and his music taste is appalling!

Thanks for your feedback! Going to make some changes in the morning :)

I want a vinyl player so bad! Might have to hint to the boyfriend for Valentines day ;)

I got mine after I got made redundant. It was the only thing I bought for me. I don't have loads of Vinyl - I try to buy one or 2 a month. I am running out of space for storing them though!

The problem we have is that our local market sells 4 for £10 so its quite cheap for him to build up his collection. Just a shame its awful to listen to!
