I really should stay of Facebook. Just posted a rant against someone posting the latest anti-Muslim lies about Aldi taking the crosses off hot cross buns to keep other religions happy. All the idiots posting that it is a disgrace and should be stopped. I imagine I will have been unfriended by the end of the night.

A 2 second Google would show that the opposite is true.

Your fees look a bit high. Do you use 'signed for' service to post your parcels?

Nope I just round down to the nearest 50p - so it's not the exact amount. Some of the sales are international as well so the shipping costs are higher (as they're not through GSP).

We finally got chickens! Very excited. Just needs some eggs now. I wouldn't recommend purely as a money saving/making exercise though!

Read your chicken post with interest. I've just got three ladies of my own. They really enjoy being outdoors so try to let yours free range as much as possible. Mine have gotten used to the routines now and will take themselves off to bed before dusk so I just have to go along and close the door behind them. I fenced off a part the garden with stakes and wire fence which seems to be doing the job. No eggs yet from mine either but I think they are not quite at point of lay yet. They sure poop a lot though. Their favourite treat is oats!

I think its a shame that when you add up all the costs it is almost always cheaper to drive to Lidl and buy meat or eggs than it is to rear your own poultry or animals. But it is still a good thing to do.

Thinking about geese next.
