I enjoy reading your blog and go straight to it most days. Would it look better for you for me to google 'katy kicker' rather than just type 'katykicker.com' into the address bar?
I don't think it matters love, but thanks! Whatever works for you is great. Katykicker or Katy Kicker is one of my most popular search terms which is nice, but I think direct traffic is cool too as it shows I'm memorable to people for when I tell brands my stats! :) x

Success is achieving what you set out to do.

For most of us it's probably either the cathartic effect of sharing our thoughts with others, or to make money.

Everything else is either noise or an indicator of how you're performing.

A high DA isn't really a success. But the profit from paid blogging which is dependent upon having a high DA probably is.

Being top of Google isn't really a success. But people finding your work more easily probably is, if you're in it for the social side.

It can be a long road to success. You can still have fun and make money on the way :)

I'm not sure what 'the future' is for me on my blog. I'm enjoying what I'm doing at the moment - and people appear to be enjoying it too.

Then it sounds like your blog is a success :)

If you enjoy what you're doing, or you're making money, or preferably both, then who is to say that your blog isn't successful?

Hello fact-fans!

Just seen that I've now beaten my 2017 blog stats by the end of June 2018.

:)

I could have 1,000,000 page views before the year is over.
Good work Good Work

PROMOTE PROMOTE PROMOTE!!

That's the key, not only your blog URL but individual blog posts!!

I guess it depends on what you set out to do with the blog.

If you're achieving that goal then I'd consider it a success.

I am going for more interaction for the rest of the year. I'm still managing about a blog-post a week (sometimes more) so getting my blog-posts out there should help.

I need to up my readership...with no big TCB quiz it does drop to a 'normal' level but I want to increase what 'normal' is!

:D

I didn't set out to do anything when I started the blog. So either I've massively succeeded or massively failed - it all depends on your viewpoint! :D

I'm enjoying the process of writing blog posts. Trying to get good photos (and unique photos - something I'm working on) to add to them and making them interesting.

They aren't for everyone, but that's ok. The great thing about a blog is that people choose to come visit you. Or not. The same with Twitter. It is a passive interaction on your part and an active one on theirs.
