Do have to do Coral and Betfair or can I use another one instead of Betfair please?

I had an account in my old details so it won't let me join until veryify my new details but I have a bank card in my new details and utility bill in new details but photo id is one of two old names (married, divorced married again). I've not travelled and so not updated my passport and my driving licence I need in old name until I've completed a speed awareness course in a couple of months.

I've set up and deposited money in Coral already.

Thanks

Helen

Smarkets is the main alternative to Betfair. I do 95% of my lay bets on there as it only has a 2% commision. It has a £10 sign-up bonus too.

Yes, I would second that. Also, when you come to use PaddyPower bookie you will HAVE to use Smarkets or another Exchange as PaddyPower and Betfair are merged.

Welcome to the forum by the way, @pbfhpunk :) and don't be afraid to ask any questions, we don't bite!

I have another question, I've read a bit on it and watched the PA vidoes pbut really don't get it.

Liability.
I'm using my £20 free bet in Coral
The bet I've picked says , so I bet £17.75 in smarkets, I don't get what the liability is and if you never lose more than your stake why do I need £152.65 in my smarkets account.

At odds of 9.6, your lay stake is £17.75
Your liability will be £152.65
Bookmaker Win: £17.35
Exchange Win: £17.39

Sorry, I really don't understand this bit.

First of
WOAH odds of 9.6 is VERY high.

Do you qualifying bet just above what PA say to do and I would use your free bet around 4.0-6.0

If you win at coral then your liability goes from the smartkets side into the coral winnings

If you win at the exchange the liability makes up your winnings there

As you can see on the calculator on that current (very high odds) bet you are going to make £17 odd no matter if your bet wins at coral or ends up in smarkets

Ok sorry, yes it's when I was messing around I copied the wrong bit!
Back odds are 4.00
At odds of 4.5, your lay stake is £13.39
Your liability will be £46.87
Bookmaker Win: £13.13
Exchange Win: £13.12

I'm really sorry I still don't get what liability means. If I win on my back bet does £46.87 come out of my lay account even though I only bet £13.39?

Correct

If your back bet wins the liability get taken from your smarkets lay and ends up in your coral winning

This is why it's risk free as you are covered no matter what

Thank you for all your help, I really appreciate it!

Ok, I *think* I've done it

At odds of 4.7, your lay stake is £12.82
Your liability will be £47.43
Bookmaker Win: £12.57
Exchange Win: £12.56

I had £50 in my smarkets so that covered the liability. Is the next step that I cash out at Coral - my first bet won in there - and then open another account with another offer at another place and go through it all again?

I think I've sort of got it a little bit!

Is the aim that the Lay wins most of the time?

How do you all use it? do you do it everyday or just odd days? I work fulltime with betting sites being blocked so I think if I could do it I'd have to do it in the evening betting on events the next day. Would that work?

Thanks again everybody for all your help, two weddings and a divorce have left me with a fair bit of debt I'm hoping to make a dent in asap.

Well if the lay wins that a good thing especially when you are just starting out.

I tend to do every offer that's in the reloads section which takes a few minutes each day, weekends a little bit longer as there is obviously more sport

You've started at just the right time as you can build up your bank for when the football season starts and all the mega offers appear!!

How much can you make? Well I wrote about how I've made over £25,000+ so far already here

So I'm calling it a day for today - should really spend some time with my husband and stepson!

But I think I'm £45 up I've put the details below:
Site, deposited, withdrawn
Coral, 10, 15.5
Ladbrokes, 10, 2.81
William Hill, 10, 26.25
Betway, 10, 3.67
Smarkets, 50, 87.09
Total, 90, 135.32

Thanks for your help again, hope I did it right! Although not entirely sure how I ended up with a couple of pounds in a cou0ple of the accounts and I can't withdraw that low an amount. Should I keep the money in smarkets for next time?

FYI - Use Profit Tracker on PA to clock your earnings each time you do an offer.
