Hi everyone

This question is for anyone and everyone to answer if you'e won anything online from comping. I'm sure you can remember that first time you found out that you'd won a competition, so I'm curious to know what was your first (no matter how big or small) win?

Thanks
Abby

I've won too many things to remember online, but my first ever prize was from a local butcher. I had to name their mascot. My entry got picked and I won a huge breaded ham, which was delicious and was shared amongst my family.

My first ever win long before online was a pair of roller skates. I had to make as many words as possible from MCVities chocolate biscuits. As I was home ill and bored I made hundreds. I was not able to use them at the time so my mum persuaded the local toy shop owner to swap them for a game of monopoly.

I also won a table cloth in a coronation draw when I was a toddler but I don't think I was very impressed with that.

Not from comping but when I was 12 I won an arcade game competition at a car dealership. The prize was a track day at silverstone and because I was too young they gave me a cheque for £100. It felt like a fortune.

6 bottles of Moet from a job site just before Xmas many years ago. This was ironic as I had worked for a local company for 2 days and hated my boss so much I had to resign - he was a complete tool.

I know this post is a couple of months old but I remember my first win - it was in 2008 and it was a £100 TK Maxx gift card. Then 2 days later I won my biggest ever prize - an entertainment package worth £4k. Haven't won anything as exciting since, but then I don't enter the competitions any more.

When it comes strictly to competitions, I can't recall winning anything...

not online, but years ago I went with my dad to a conference in earls court (buying & selling tat). so there was this one stall with a pinball machine and if you got something like 1 billion squillion points they would give you a coca cola fridge. Well, little did they know if you popped the ball a certain number of times in the jackpot slot then you get an insane number of points and I managed to win! However, being underaged, they basically said I couldn't have the fridge. no alternative provided either !!! had lots of fun though.

Was actually able to win £50 prize from a raffle two years ago. Never had much other luck though

My first win was a £25 cheque from a puzzle competition!

But judging by the way I reacted, you would think I had won the lottery

I've only started entering competitions in the past year. I've entered over 50, not won a single one. Is it just me that's this unlucky?

First win was a DAB radio with News of the world email competition in 2006. Had a facia cover of the England world cup side (compared to current times rubbish!). Rechargeable battery stopped working after a while. Remember thinking wow and went on a role of entering tons and tons of competitions which resulted in quite few nice wins over the years.
