(or been listening to today).

I'm currently flicking through internet radio stations, just heard Phil Collins - In the Air Tonight
giphy.gif

followed by (obligatory*) Steely Dan & Ricci Don't Lose That Number.
(*I swear at least one station always plays Steely Dan almost every week)

Big L earlier went from Siouxsie and the Banshees - Hong Kong Garden
to The Monks - Nice Legs, Shame About The Face
(they play some really odd or naff songs on there sometimes, & one presenter last year was a bit too fond
of The Barren Knights :rolleyes::po_O)

I listen to a lot of KISStory on the DAB even though They repeat songs so often you wouldn’t believe I just can’t turn down listening to 90s/early 2000s music

Same goes for absolute radio 90s

I don’t know about where you live but local radio has been totally gutted over the years and now at best you get a bbc regional station and a HEART one that references a road you know once every hour and that’s about it!!

Between Sountrack albums (greatest showman or Disney if my daughter is in, La La Land if on my own) I'm slowly rediscovering my mp3 library - listened to a lot of Voltare the last few days.

I just leave it on radio 2 these days. It's not cool or trendy but then neither am I. And I like the familiarity of DJs I know.

But you know you are getting old when they play a 90s dance tune as part of an 'oldies' feature and you think I'm sure that was only a few years ago.

In the office we either listen to Heart or Capital.. on my own I'll listen to Radio X..
On my commute I might be listening to either a PD podcast or some Foo Fighters, Biffy Clyro, Chris Helme, Pink, Stereophonics, Notorius BIG, JayZ, Beyonce...it varies! At the moment I'm listening to the soundtrack of A Star is Born and loving it.

Been disc checking cds to sell on amazon.
First was a (probably) local singer doing soul/jazz covers (home made cdr & printed inserts), that'll be going back to a charity shop.

Followed by The Soldiers - Message To You (Tesco's Deluxe Edition with a couple of bonus tracks)
Guest staring Robin Gibb

Quite a bit of Bring Me The Horizon as we are seeing them in 2 weeks and before that I had the new Ice Nine Kills album on repeat. Normally I just have my playlist on rather than listening to specifics.

I always just make playlists with the name of the month and always have that on in the background. Loving the new A$AP Rocky song though.

Guess nobody on here's really interested in music :(

I'm currently listening to Dave Mason playing mostly 50s/ 60s & retro pop/rock 'n'roll/soul on Big L - The Golden Age Of Rock n' Roll.

eta: they're currently playing a gender flipped answer record to When A Man Loves A Woman. Esther Phillips - When A Woman Loves A Man

The last album I listen to was Easy Star All Stars - Dub Side Of The Moon
a Dub reggae cover of Pink Floyd's Dark Side Of The Moon.
