That's a really good idea I am definitely doing that next time. Have you managed to get any money back through doing this before? If so do you have any tips on what to say as I have tried this with travel and hotel companies before and got no where but I have never tried with makeup or other products!

@Salk212 I've had results mainly from food stuffs before e.g. I eat cereals every day (different brands) and have phoned their 'care line' to let them know if they don't taste 'normal' (and sent stuff back when requested).
I usually notice when they are 'under-processed', so must have a sensitive palate or something, ha ha!
I often get my purchase cost refunded (in a voucher) plus a little extra on top.
I only ever complain when there is a genuine issue though, and feel this is good feedback for them. I have also praised a company too, for their good service etc.
I also go onto Live Chat at Amazon (very hard to find it though) when I've had problems with goods bought with themselves or Marketplace sellers, and have had refunds.
The main thing is to only do it for genuine complaints, be polite and not to abuse the system.
