I've got so many survey sites saved and signed up to, but which are your favourites at the moment? I'd love to hear, please feel free to add more than one and explain why you enjoy them so much, and how often pay out is too :)

Thanks!

Hi I'd be very interested in the replies you get as well, there's always someone that's tried something different.

Everyone would probably say Prolific. Well paid and interesting studies provided by uni's and educational establishments. Much better than being asked how many boxes of fish fingers you buy from Aldi (or Waitrose if you prefer), in a month.

Apps on the go are hit and miss, Curious Cat are OK, not great payments but instant pay after £1 threshold. QMee are good with no minimum threshold but surveys are usually full and screenouts can be common. Pollpass is good £5 min threshold. One Pulse is OK but there's a lot of work to be put in first and the US ones only pay about £3.85 after conversion.
Vypr is good, I had a slow start but my second payment threshold has whizzed by. People also swear by Swagbucks but to me personally it's a bit of a faff.

Long Haul? PopulusLive is a £50.00 payout by old fashioned cheque. It can take a while but the surveys are well paid.

Good luck!

Yeah currently I only bother with Prolific. Good £10+ a month on average for not much; you could get a lot more if you sat at the computer all day.

I agree Castro about the computer thing. If you have a desktop with easy quick access you can earn much more.

Prolific, YouGov, Opinium. YouGov and Opinium rarely screen out and are usually much more interesting than the typical shopping survey. They do take a while to build but ultimately the value for your time is better than average.

One Poll (takes a long time to get to pay out though, Prolific, OnePulse (now is not a great earner but v quick and easy). I am also signed up with Populus Live, but only on £18 so far.

Populuslive & YouGov are good if you are interested in politics. I reached the £50 payout threshold with Populuslive a couple of days ago. When I looked at my survey history it showed I had earned £31 this year so far. Prolific is good - I just missed out on a £5.45 survey which would have taken 45 mins but currently have a balance over £15. I cashed out with Branded Surveys earlier this month for $10. They are the best options in my opinion.

The main ones that pay well for me are Panelbase, Surveybods, Onepoll, Ipoll, Branded Surveys, prolific, YouGov, opinium research and Populuslive.

Thank you everyone for your replies. I'm a few quid away from cashing out on populouslive for the first time. I wish they had more surveys avaliable. I cashed out with YouGov just before christmas and it took so long that I've not bothered since, although I guess I should. I do Qmee, Curious Cat and QuickThoughts app which are the best/fastest paying in my opinion. I don't use my laptop that often anymore but if I could find a decent few survey sites which are worth it then hopefully it'll encourage me to use it more :)

YouGov does take a while, but I don't mind their surveys are not to bad for the amount of time required and it is always nice getting a £50 payout.

Another one I forgot to mention that is a slow burner but takes very little effort is Viewbank. They have a 10p poll each weekday which takes a second to do and I have had a quite few higher paying surveys from them too and I usually make £40-£60 a year.

I've been using One Poll since the beginning of the year and I'm nearly read to cash out: I am at £29.90. I haven't had a single survey in one week though? I've had that with Valued Opinions in the past, I eventually emailed them and they started sending me surveys again! Has anyone had the same problem?

Prolific - although I get very frustrated with how quickly the surveys fill up, even with the assistant. I've missed out on several £5+ surveys in the last few days due to the assistant notifying me there's 0 or 1 places available. Despite that it's still easily the best for me at the moment.

Populuslive - I feel this one doesn't get much mention but it's always been a steady earner for me. Some of the best pay rates going. The biggest negative is the £50 threshold, but I can usually get this every 2-3 months.

I would have included Panelbase in the past but I finally got fed up with the high screenout rate. The two I mentioned you do not get srceened out, or very rarely.

I don't use Onepoll anymore, but had the same experience when I was close to cashing out.

OnePoll ALWAYS stop sending surveys when you are a few pence short. Usually after a few days they will send one, or top up your account to the payment threshold. I have a sneaky feeling that its their way of staggering paypal payments until they have sufficient funds - but there again, I could be wrong, as I frequently am :p

Populuslive & Testable Minds - Prolific was good for a while, but I've stopped receiving studies from them
