....don't panic, I'm not actually throwing it in but I'm at more of a crossroads.

I have ChammyIRL which I've been writing for and building up for the last 6 years. It has a consistent income stream at the moment through Mediavine ads and c&p pre-written content. However, over the last 3 years I've only written about a dozen of my own posts due to being a full-time student. I've been doing the bare minimum and not really focused on growing it.

In about 9 weeks I finish my degree, and I hoping to get on to 2 years MSc. My predicament is what to do about my main blog which is no longer the focus of my career?

My current blogging situation is that I own:

ChammyIRL - currently earning as I said above with the odd sponsored work coming in
Modern Money Life - currently earning purely through Fat Joe content
Totally Blogging - I bought at the end of last year, done nothing with yet but hoping it becomes more of a passive site the husband and I can work on

I'm trying to decide whether I should remove ChammyIRL from the spotlight with regards to social media too. My Twitter and Instagram have an ok follower count so I'm wondering if I should move them to be more nutrition-focused, with the odd share from my other sites or just focus on my existing nutrition accounts to build them up (less than 100 followers atm)?

I've never been career-focused before, I kinda thought I'd just blog for the rest of my working life but I now have a career goal and everything.

Not sure what I'm trying to ask really, I just need to get words down somewhere...otherwise I won't focus on being productive, I'll just sit here letting it eat away at me.

What’s stopping you just having chammyirl which brings in an income and your nutrition site for career related content?

I'll be having both sites, that's not the issue - I'm planning over the summer to really strip back ChammyIRL so it's even less upkeep and such but I'm more interested in building up a nutrition site than maintaining CIRL

It's more, now I'm focused on nutrition and dietetics should I start putting that at the forefront of everything. So, convert my current social media channels to be more nutrition-focused rather than having to build new ones from scratch.

If I'm honest, I don't have any social media content requests for CIRL EVER, so I'm not missing out by making them more career-focused.

I think I'm looking for permission to be lazy really, I don't know. Should I just bite the bullet and work on new social media accounts?

I wouldn’t want to start again and would just rename your chammyirl handles to allthingscham or whatever

Hey @Chammy did you ever decide what to do here? Digital marketing professional, freelancer and startup adviser over the years so I can probably give a few pointers about how to streamline and get more out of the sites if needed. I usually charge but happy to provide quicker pointers etc. for free on forum comments
It's something I've just been discussing with my husband actually, I did do a more recent post about it as I'm now heading into teacher training so basically a full-time job, with study on top.

I'm going to be stripping my main blog back to what it originally started as - a place for the stuff I like so removing sponsored content over time and no longer hosting it. Making it somewhere I want to write and not to try and make a living from it.

I've just renewed one of my sites for a year which is purely c&p content for ££ so that will add a few quid to my pocket each month and all my other sites have gone.
