Hello!
Been a member for quite a while, but it's only today that I find myself delving deeper.

I got "released" from Lionbridge after exactly 11 months on Friday, and now I need something else.
Have just applied for a second Lionbridge job, in the hope that it'll reset my clock as such for another 11 months, but I'm not all that hopeful.

So where do people suggest I go next?

I did see about Leapforce, but since I've just applied for another Lionbridge, I've put that one on the back burner until I get a yay or nay...

I've lost my way with paid surveys- I used to be a regular Pinecone Research person, but that's been done for a few years now. Just went to try again and didn't meet the criteria that they needed.

Help!

Thanks, as well :)

Hi Kirsty

You may find the toolkit a good starting point for other avenues of income

Hi Kirsty,

What do you want/need out of this? Is it a set amount of money per month, or a set amount of hours you are prepared to do? That helps to find something that would suit you.

Yo lady,

Try Pinecone with a new email? I tried to reapply after a few years not doing it and kept being told I didn't meet criteria and I guess it is because my email was on the system; another shedder suggested reapplying with a new email and that worked.

Check out Jon's toolkit as most of the bigger earners are on there.

There are also oodles of blogs to read from members who are earning, you might find something there too.

Nice to "see" you back on here :D

At a guess "the client" has your IP address from your work with lionbridge so would just poo poo it if you did get as far as working for them again

Someone else on here has had a similar problem and the client has locked them out of working for both companies

I'd read that some people have no problem going backwards and forwards between these different companies? Theres so much conflicting info on this type of work....some say you can be rehired after three months, some say a year, some say never.....
It's all a mystery

Agreed

It's a mystery because of the ball busting NDA you sign so people end up having to give vague information on a site like this

Sorry yeah, I will deffo give the toolkit a read.

I have three small boys (6, 5 and 3) and so it's just work that I can do around them being at school/preschool. So Lionbridge was perfect where I wasn't in for set hours and could pick up up/drop it as and when I needed to. Plus taking time away for a week or three when I had an operation last year didn't impact anything.

Ideally, I would like £100-200 a month. Whether that's from several places or just one, it doesn't bother me.

Cheers Chammy, I'll deffo try a different email address :D I didn't think about that.

Whilst financially, there is no point to me working at a "proper" job because of childcare in the holidays, I CANNOT sit by and be a kept woman. I tend to hate most people, so it's not like being a lady wot lunches is an option for me. I prefer to have a coffee at home, alone, with a quick Minecraft session ::)

Thanks everyone :D

Me too! There's definitely stuff you can do. I've made around 1,300 extra this year so far, and I work full time. So that should be easy.

I think you'll probably have more luck with a few smaller things rather than one thing like Lionbridge - just because it is hard to find that one thing.

I've published a post on my top 10 ways to make extra money http://fromalditoharrods.com/top-10-ways-to-make-extra-money/ plus 100 ways to make £10 (therefore making £1,000) http://fromalditoharrods.com/make-1000/

£100-£200 a month is without doubt VERY easy to do each month
