If anyone is looking to buy some items in bulk to resell, this might interest you...
Over the last year, I have been purchasing shoes from a wholesaler and selling them. Now I don't have room for all of my stock, so I would like to sell the shoes as a bulk lot by the end of the month, when my office lease agreement is coming to an end.
There are around 500 pairs of various footwear. Mainly shoes, boots, sandals and trainers, some slippers, flip flops etc. Mixture of men's, women's, children's. Most are recognised brands (Clarks, Fitflop, CAT, New Balance, Kickers, Rocket Dog etc and a few popular European makes like Superga). There is mostly one size of each style, a few multiples of the same style, lots different. I have attached some photos showing a small selection of the shoes. (I have edited out some info on some cardboard boxes that is nothing to do with the shoes). EDIT - I can't see the photos. I don't want to add them again in case it's me being daft, so please let me know if they aren't there and I'll try again!
The shoes were purchased over several months - 5 pallets worth, from a UK supplier (which I am happy to share the details of with whoever buys the shoes). The condition that I purchased them in was "new", but some of the shoes do have some minor cosmetic marks (none have been worn). Some of the shoe boxes are marked too. I believe from my conversation with my supplier that they are overstock/end of line, so I guess they might be ex-display, hence some having marks but the soles all look new.
The lowest I can take is £2,000 for the lot, no offers (I would rather put them in storage than sell for less than this). They will need collecting from Derbyshire (I will provide the postcode via private message). Since they are in an office building, it isn't practical to put them on pallets to send them (there are a few steps to the entrance of the building). I can take card payment or bank transfer on collection.
I'm happy for people to come and have a look if interested. To give an idea of the value, I reckon the RRP is around £15,000, but realistically they won't sell for that much. If I was keeping them to sell, I would be aiming to make around £6K after all costs from selling them all. I am working on an itemised list in excel so you can search the individual items to look how much you could sell them for. I will include formulae to work out approximate online selling fees and postage so you can play around with it to see how much you might make. If you would like this list in excel, please message me your email address privately and I'll send it in the next day or 2 once it's ready. I can probably convert it to other formats if you can't open in excel.
Please let me know if you would like any more info.
Thanks very much @Jon for letting me post this.
