Received a telephone call yesterday, out of the blue! An order totally £80! Then an e mail out of the blue with an order for £35! Biggest total orders I have recieved in a day and I didn't really do much to attract those orders. Incredible.

I think with this sort of stuff if the brand is well known and the items are good quality then you will get the sales and more than likely... the repeat custom

Very true Jon. I started as a customer. The company bring out new collection of cards throughout the year, January, March, May, August and October often using new British Artists, they always looking out for more Artists. Can't wait for the Spring Collection, due out in March. As a Trader I get to vote on what card designs I would like to see in each collection, so excited to see if the ones I voted for made it. :)

We were out at one of those summer festivals that you get yesterday and there was a stall for Phoenix Cards there. Straight away I recognised the name..

To call it a stall would be doing it too much justice

It was more a table with cards laid out on..

I would assume this 'franchisee' sells most of their products online and realises that people don't really go to these things and off the cuff think 'i must buy some cards'

Must be quite a hard sell really...

I think every phoenix trader sets their own way of selling. The easiest way is to show your friends, ask them to show their friends, etc etc. online selling is more difficult with phoenix as customers cannot see the quality of the cards to start with so it's harder to gain new customers.

I plan on cracking through the online selling barrier as soon as I have time to dedicate to it.
