There are all sorts of mug betting theories out there. Some do it a lot and some never do. It doesn't seem to matter because you eventually get gubbed anyway. I was gubbed from someone's live casino and I never even do live casino because I find it is so boring.
Just wondering if it is worth mug betting with bookies I have accounts with who never have reload offers on PA in the hopes that they will email me some? Should I place bets with them now and then so they won't close my account for being inactive? Should I only bet with people who have offers on PA?
If you make money off the account, it's valuable, therefore worth managing. If you don't make money due to a lack of reloads then if you do a simple equation of time and effort/net return and it doesn't equal what your time is worth then why bother mugging. With no reload offers it will be a negative amount! I've managed to retain those accounts that I started with bar one. Careful account management in the first few months is vital if it's a bookie with good reloads.
I've got over 70% of sign ups to do and make around £775 a month (but have had a couple of plus £900 months) doing sports and no risk/low risk casino. I only really use Bet365, Lads, Will Hill and Paddy Power and mug those regularly. I do the arcade offers on Betfair, the fs given out by Matchbook, and the slots offers on Mecca Bingo BUT if a slot looks iffy I won't always do the offer. This month I've done bingo sign ups for Heart and Buzz which have netted me around £200.
To mug I tend to do non offer bets or unlayable accas. Unlayable accas are always a good idea as the bookies know that you're really risking your money, although you have to bet an amount in keeping with your betting levels. You can't bet £500 on bet365 on a 2up offer then do a £5 acca. I sometimes use my fb or bet credits (lower value) on my accas .I regularly run money through bet365 casino but have more than profited from this due to a few nice wins. If I do slots offers on a site I will regularly mug their slots, more if I win a reasonable amount - I'll set a stop loss and keep track of wagering - ie spinning £20 through the slots can cost you £10 or net you £50. It all balances out in the end. A good idea on mugging slots is to use a slot involved in an offer as you're much more likely to get a decent win on it. There is no guarantee to whether you win or lose though!
Live casino gubbing: Paddy Power by any chance? Strange business decision!
Just my perspective on mug betting. You'll lose the account eventually as bookies only love a loser and hate betters with an edge!
