$1.99 charge. I am having a dig around so don't quote me. It looks like you can have a "wage" paid at a frequency you select, and you select that you only want to be paid when you reach $xxx in order to minimise transaction fees.
Or
If you don't want to wait for your scheduled payment you always choose to get paid now.

Before you link to your bank, check what they'll charge to receive foreign payments. I know NatWest charges, so I'll stick with PayPal.

Also if you can withdraw at less than $100 to your bank, don't forget it'll be $1.99 each time + bank charges (probably). PayPal is $1 for $100 withdrawal + Paypal conversion. So if you earnt $15 -10% to oDesk ($13.50) - $1.9(bank) withdrawal fee ($11.51) - your bank fee & your earnings have gone down a lot.

As it's fixed price, you contact the client. As the project was quite a short one, they may not check things until after the project finishes (today).

I was just going to chase that she got my email, not the payment.
I am still probably going for direct to bank even though it will be will a bigger hit - not decided yet.

About another 1k applicants overnight, so presumably the deadline has been extended.

After I'd done mine I emailed to let her know & said I'd be happy to do more. I haven't heard back.

I did notice that several times I had to say 'My name is [insert random name of the opposite sex]'.

I applied yesterday and got my emails, contract and job email late last night. I opened it this morning and it said it needs completing before end of day on the 1st September!!!! So I've got to do it today.... With 3 kids running lose around the house ( I should really find out who they belong to).... Late night for me then :-(

Bang a film on to keep them quiet, you have to click to start each recording so can pause the task so to speak if they are fighting and you need to mediate (or is that just my children)

I have had my profile rejected 3 times - firstly as it didn't have enough info, secondly because I wasn't smiling in the photo and then lastly because I hadn't used full sentences. Each time they tell me to fix this thing, so I add more info to appease them. Wait another 24 hours, and another message pings - something else needs changing. I feel they are taking the mick.

It does annoy me that I have spent so long on a profile and still have no work. My write up had so much info in it, and was grammatically correct and so very detailed (& in full sentences). To hear others have profiles which are not up to much it does make me a bit cross.

It does surprise me that my profile hasn't been rejected then. My profile picture is a photo of me and the dog!

I have finally been accepted - got a very terse remark about my profile having already been amended - erm yes, I did what you asked days ago..

Anyway - good to go now.

Am tempted to change my profile pic to the cat now ;D

Janine - it's not by the end of our day, it's by the end of their day (and they are ahead of us)

Also - it's not as bad as you think as you can pause between phrases. My phrases weren't long - just stuff like OK Google, asking alexandria.

Also - I think my profile has been accepted after I sent them an arsey message asking what else I would need to add to live up to their "high standards", and while they were at it, why didn't they take the time to look at some of the dross on there.
