Maybe it's just the way I look at it but can someone who has worked for home based franchises explain to me what the appeal is with them?
Every post I see about them on Mum sites is generally sickly sweet about what an amazing community their brand gives you and how it is basically like having friends who pay you money.
It there some kind of appeal I am not seeing? Is it the fact you as basically getting to run your own business but with a lot less risks?
Why is getting people to sign up to your franchise such an important factor? Is that where the money is to be made?
