Just looking for the best ways to Top up my Income a bit while I have a lot more spare time while working from home.

For work I am a Demand Analyst so was perhaps looking into a part time job or something where I can do things with Data or Spreadsheets as I have 20 years experience in this area for major clients.

I do Freetrade and T212 to top things up a bir.

I use Attapoll to add but this is £15-£20 a week which adds to the pot.

Perfect, going to read through that and look into what I could potentially earn in my free time. Be nice in the winter months just for some extra treats for next year. Appreciated Jon.

If you've got some sort of mad excel / sql skills then it might be worth offering your services on the likes of Fiverr / PeoplePerHour / Upwork etc as i'm sure a lot of small businesses would bite your hand off for ad-hoc work!

I have signed up to Fiverr and I am going to look at Peopleperhour. I am undecided whether to want to do basic data input or mode advanced stuff, as doing it for work all day something less mentally taxing may suit more, but the sites do seem suited to be able to do a bit of both and then decide what is the right balance. Cheers for that as extra income I can do without, but I want to use it to put myself in a position where I am financially comfortable even if it means working extra hard for several years.

For the first time in my life I have had a 9k rise at work by forcing their hand, so it has showed me the reward of doing that bit extra and changing my life. I am hoping to be debt free by next summer and then to start making better financial choices for the long term.

Cheers for the advice as it is going to get me to get me to a better future.

Congrats on the payrise at work!

Part of me feels PPH would be a more natural fit for this compared to Fiverr but I could be wrong

Pay rises seem to be coming hand over fist at the moment in some sectors where they are really struggling to keep staff. I got an email from Redwigwam about a waitering job with holiday inn doing the breakfast shift clearing tables and serving sausages etc paying £12 an hour. Pretty sure that would have been close to minimum wage a year ago.

Question is will pay from the work from home environment keep pace with other people's pay increases and indeed, inflation?

Back in err 1998 I was a waiter at a Forte Posthouse (now known as Holiday Inn) and got paid an amazing £2.70 an hour!!!!
