If anyone is planning a new kitchen and is attracted by the glossy Wren Kitchens brochures and showrooms, please DO NOTHING until you have joined and read the posts within the Facebook Group "Wren Kitchens Disasters".

This will potentially save you a lot of money and heartache!

Spread the word! - I saved my Mum from getting involved with them and you never know when your friends and family are about to possibly make an expensive mistake.

If, after reading about other people's experiences, they still want to go ahead then fine. But, at least go in with your eyes open rather than relying upon their heavily censored social media account posts and aggressively policed trustpilot score.

PS. They have previously been investigated by BBC Watchdog and I believe that there is a similar programme being aired this Autumn / Winter.

Oh blimey! My Niece has just bought a kitchen from them. She had the old one ripped out last week and they are supposed to be fitting the new one this week. I hope everything goes OK :(

I hope it goes ok for her. If it doesn't, the Facebook group that I mentioned might offer some assistance. Is she using her own fitters?

I didn't even know that Argos sold kitchens. I have now learned that small local independents offer much better service for same or slightly more money.

We bought some Wren's fitted wardrobes and had them installed by them (actually local people that they subby out to, like carpet places do).
This was about 3 years ago though (i think). We had loads of hassle getting the stuff delivered and it came in multiple deliveries.

Once the installation got underway it wasn't too bad. They did try to take all their tools to another job promising me they would be back but I wouldn't let them take them out of my house until they had finished the job - seen a friend of mine fall for that before. There were 2 of them but I stood my ground.

After about 3 years the wardrobes have had some hammer but they work like new.

I think a lot of these companies have good products but they are so poor when it comes to fulfilling orders and arranging installation - so happy to sell but then fail to deliver.

Local independents are better, but not perfect, then again who can be.

The big problem with Wren at the moment is very poor fitters and even worse quality control / manufacturing processes for their "high end" doors. I have heard some people receiving more than a dozen different sets of doors/drawers (over 12 months+) and they are still garbage quality. They also seem to have a problem with wall units falling off the wall!
