Hi Guys

I'm in a bit of a conflict situation, I would like to and also don't want to put a post up. I had some issues with a previous employer that have failed to get back to me or apologize for the issues they caused me with final pay. I have emailed the higher management several times and nothing back at all. So along with explaining the issues I want to also give you the inner secrets of getting the best deals and also the hidden issues.

My previous employer was Virgin Media

I never signed any NDA or anything like that so am legally free to post.

But i don't want it to seem like a big winge.

any advice?

Could you not do the post and NOT mention that you worked for them?

You could either do a straight up “tricks I found to save x with virgin media”
Or just call them the big red entertainment cable company lol

Or does the post need to include the fact you used to work there?

I am not bothered about saying I worked there. They basically messed up my final pay on numerous occasions left me in limbo with a lot of things. Due to other peoples mistakes. I Have emailed higher management several times and had no apology. I want to post it but not sure on the effect it will have on my blog. It could be a negative thing and bring my blog down it could be a great thing and really boost it. I have never posted a Rant if that makes any sense at all.

I would maybe sit on this for a few weeks / months just because it sounds like there is a lot of emotion attached to it at the moment and the last thing you want is any sort of legal kick back from posting your inside info

Also, you don't want people to start unfollowing you on your blog/social media for saying something too negative - I have seen this happen.

If you can turn the negative into a positive “tricks I found to save x with virgin media", after the dust settles a bit - it would be great!

From a reader's point of view I would say the 2 things are separate issues. Would I like to read a blog post about saving money with a particular company? Yes. Would I like to hear a rant about an old employer? Not so much. I would turn the crap employer into a positive thing for you by using the knowledge to write a great blog post about the inside info and leave out the bitter part. (disclaimer: I like a good rant myself but prob best not to do it so publically).

Personally I'd leave out the negative part and share the part to save your readers money x
