Hi
I am thinking maybe a few months into the new year I might start a blog about buying/renting property in the local area with the idea of monetising it with adverts from local tradesmen/ estate agents and maybe sponsored posts from mortgagee providers. I want to have 'houses for sale' section and invite estate agents to list properties at a cost per property.

However, until I can get agents to do this , I am thinking of getting some content on the page by taking a pic of a property for sale , listing a few details such as location and price along with a link to the selling agent. I am just wondering tho am I unwittingly breaking any rules, laws , codes of conduct etc?
I used to work in property a few years back and cant think of any conversations /comments about this subject.
Any info or advice welcone

Interesting idea but are you not going to need a boatload of targetted traffic for the Estate Agents to think it's worth then spending money on listing the home on your site ON TOP of paying for Rightmove, Zoopla etc

Yeh see what you mean . Right move and zoopla are hugely expensive to advertise with. It's just an idea at the moment. I think it might get more traffic if I have weekly local news and info which should bring a bit of traffic. Main concern is having properties listed on it via taking a roadside snapshot of the property. Don't know if that's gonna be a big no no

There are probably GDPR implications of this, I dunno, but not something I would want to get involved in.

I disagree.

There are absolutely no GDPR implications with photographing the outside of houses.

people might get annoyed by it, but there is no GDPR implications.

yeah from the outside of the house should be fine as it's a public road/street but you won't be able to get any inside info without asking the owners permission
