Just as the title says - I'm another newbie to this:

Last day at my job today as i'm leaving to concentrate on being a househusband, at least that's what I told my wife :D The reality is that I have the luxury of quitting my job to be a househusband and stay at home dad (again) but I don't want to be idle and I want to make sure I'm still bringing in a little money.

I've been lurking here a week or so and have already joined a few of the more popular sites. After the school half term (next week) I'm going to be making a concerted effort to join as many as possible. I also started matched betting this morning and am, if you'll excuse the expression, absolutely crapping myself that i'm going to lose everything i put into it! I guess i'll find out at later after the race has been run.

anyway, that's enough for now - any questions?
Oh and I know it will be asked so - I'm looking to make around £300 a month (but am open to making a lot more)

£300 a month won’t be an issue.

You will WELL surpass that with matched betting alone :)

If you are doing races for your bets make sure you choose ones that are a good few hours away as the closer to the race the quicker the odds move which can be a bit tough to manage when you are just getting started

Great stuff!

Matched betting aside just remember to diversify! It’s important to not put all your eggs in one basket with online earnings as if one avenue closes its important to have backup plans!
